Santa Pola publishes the final list of 31 candidates for Psychologist

The Santa Pola City Council has approved the final list of admitted applicants to fill two Psychologist positions as career civil servants, through the competitive examination system for the open turn. The resolution, adopted by Mayoral Decree number 2026-2227 of August 19, 2026, has been made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante number 163, of August 28, 2026.

The selection process, corresponding to the 2023 Public Employment Offer, includes two permanent positions belonging to the Special Administration scale, Technical sub-scale, group A, subgroup A1, with position number (N.ID) 208-5013. The call directly affects the coverage of municipal social services, as the Psychologist position is key in providing care to the citizenry.

Final list of admitted and excluded applicants

The final list includes 31 admitted applicants and 4 excluded, which can be consulted on the municipal website (www.santapola.es, Public Employment section) and on the Human Resources Edicts board. Among those admitted are, among others:

The four excluded applicants are Cabot Herreros, Jesica; Mayor Muñoz, Beatriz; Ortega Castro, Bernardo and Palomares Linares, Francisca, for failing to submit the standardized application, due to an expired ID, or for failing to provide a complete photocopy of the document.

Technical Selection Body

The decree also appoints the members of the Technical Selection Body, which will be chaired by Gema Mollá Quinto, legal advisor for Social Services of the Santa Pola City Council, with Emilio Manuel Jordán Cases as substitute. Rafael García Navajas, municipal social worker, will act as secretary, and psychologists from various city councils will act as members:

• Olga Jiménez Rostoll (Benidorm City Council)
• Lidia Alonso Gil (EEIIA, East Area, Elche City Council)
• Soledad Megías Roca (Secretary of the Guardamar del Segura City Council)

First exercise: October 6

The First Exercise, consisting of a multiple-choice questionnaire, will be held on October 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Training Room of the Local Police Building, at Avenida de Elche, number 17, Santa Pola. Candidates will be summoned by a single call, and those who do not attend will be excluded from the process. The order of appearance will be alphabetical starting with the letter “P”, according to the Resolution of January 20, 2026, of the Department of Economy, Finance and Public Administration (DOGV no. 10289, of January 27, 2026).

The publication of this final list brings the process to its decisive phase: the filling of two permanent Psychologist positions will reinforce the municipal social services of Santa Pola, an area of direct care for citizens. The announcement, signed by the mayor-president María Loreto Serrano Pomares, represents a firm step toward the resolution of a Public Employment Offer (OPE) that seeks to consolidate technical personnel in the municipality.
