Santa Maria d'Oló announces grants for entities and school aid

The Santa Maria d’Oló City Council has opened three grant calls for the 2026 financial year, approved by agreement of the Local Government Board on July 28, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 1. The aid is intended for associations and local entities, students with economic needs, and post-compulsory secondary students who travel outside the municipality.

The three calls are published as registered extracts in the National Grants Database (BDNS), in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17. The full texts can be consulted on the state info-grants platform, and the agreements are signed by the mayor, Xavier Baraut Roca, dated August 27, 2026.

Grants for associations and entities

The first call (BDNS 926719, CVE 202610136361) regulates the procedure for granting subsidies for the programming and organization of culture, leisure, sport, and education activities in the municipality. The budget credit to which it is charged is 9200-48000 of the 2026 budget, with a maximum total amount of 3,000 euros.

  • Regulatory bases: published in the BOPB on August 10, 2018.
  • Deadline: 20 calendar days from the publication of the call in the BOPB.

School aid for students with economic needs

The second call (BDNS 926717, CVE 202610136363) provides individual aid for the acquisition of school materials, books, and participation in school, extracurricular, and leisure activities in compulsory education levels and the second cycle of early childhood education. The budget credit is 2310 48002, with a maximum total amount of 1,000 euros.

  • Beneficiaries: students registered in the municipality attending the second cycle of early childhood education, primary education, and secondary education, enrolled in the municipality’s public school and the reference IES, from families with economic needs.
  • Regulatory bases: published in the BOPB on October 7, 2019.
  • Deadline: 20 calendar days, from October 1 to October 20, 2026, both inclusive.

Mobility aid for post-compulsory students

The third call (BDNS 926718, CVE 202610136375) regulates the granting of scholarships for post-compulsory secondary education students who pursue their studies outside the municipality and travel by public transport. The budget credit is 2310-48005, with a maximum total amount of 1,500 euros.

  • Beneficiaries: young people between 16 and 24 years old, registered in the municipality, who are studying post-compulsory secondary education in a municipality different from their place of residence.
  • Regulatory bases: published in the BOPB on August 11, 2025.
  • Deadline: 20 calendar days from the publication of the call in the BOPB.

The three calls represent direct support to families and the associative fabric of a rural municipality, where mobility and access to education are key to guaranteeing equal opportunities. Interested parties have twenty calendar days to submit applications, with a specific calendar for school grants, which opens on October 1st.
