Sant Martí de Centelles approves the solar pergola for the municipal parking lot

Por FactBox Admin

The Sant Martí de Centelles City Council has definitively approved the technical project titled “Pèrgola FV St. Martí de Centelles”, which provides for the implementation of a photovoltaic solar pergola at the municipal parking lot located at the intersection of Congost Street and the Vic road, known as the Països Catalans parking lot. The decision was made public through a Mayoral edict published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on August 26, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610134773. The project has a contract execution budget of 262,408.28 euros, VAT included.

The project was drafted by EACOM Ingenieros y Consultores, S.A. and signed by the technician Gerard Betoret Pallarès on March 26, 2026. The initial approval was agreed upon via Mayoral Decree dated June 23, 2026, and the corresponding announcement was published in the BOPB on July 1, 2026, in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya on July 6, 2026, and on the municipal electronic notice board.

Definitive approval without objections

Following the legal period of thirty business days for public information, no objections or claims were filed. Consequently, in accordance with the same Mayoral Decree, the project has been definitively approved without the need for a new express agreement, taking effect from the business day following the end of the public exhibition period.

The edict is published for general knowledge, in accordance with article 38.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulations for works, activities, and services of local entities.

Appeal periods

Against the definitive approval, which ends the administrative route, the following appeals may be filed:

  • Appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the Mayor’s Office, within a period of one month.
  • Contentious-administrative appeal before the C-A section of the Court of First Instance of Barcelona, within a period of two months.

In both cases, the periods are counted from the day after the publication of the edict. If an appeal for reversal is filed, a contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or a presumed dismissal has occurred.

The edict is signed by the mayor, Núria Roca Carrasco, and the document bears the date and time of the electronic signature.

A preliminary step to tendering

With the definitive approval of the project, the Sant Martí de Centelles City Council completes the preliminary step to the tendering of the photovoltaic pergola works, an action that will allow the municipal parking space to be utilized to generate solar energy. The installation, with a budget of 262,408.28 euros, is part of the municipality’s strategy to promote renewable energies and reduce the energy expenditure of public facilities.
