Sant Julià de Ramis appoints Pere Pujolras as acting mayor for August

The Sant Julià de Ramis City Council has appointed Mr. Pere Pujolras Feixas as acting mayor for the period between August 13 and 28, 2026, both inclusive, replacing the holder of the Mayoralty during their absence. The decision is recorded in Mayoral Decree no. 541, of August 12, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 162, of August 24, 2026, edict 7406).

The same decree voids the previous appointment, which fell to Mr. Marc Puigtió Rebollo, as he will be absent during the period for which he had been appointed and will be unable to assume the temporary substitution of the Mayoralty.

A change motivated by chain absences

The new appointment is explained by a chain of absences among the deputy mayors. The decree voids the modification of the appointment made via Mayoral Decree no. 494, of July 28, 2026, which was based on the municipal reorganization approved by Mayoral Decree no. 519, of August 7, 2026, which has also been voided.

Furthermore, it is noted that Mr. Arnau Casademont Dalmau, the next deputy mayor according to the current order of appointment, will also be absent during the same period and, therefore, will also be unable to assume the substitution. For this reason, the appointment falls to the next available deputy mayor.

Scope and effects of the substitution

The appointment entails the exercise of all functions inherent to the office of mayor during the substitution period, with the legally established limitations. The effects of the resolution are as follows:

• Start: August 13, 2026.
• End: August 28, 2026, both inclusive.
• Termination: automatic upon the return of the holder of the Mayoralty.

The resolution is based on articles 44 and 47 of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28, which approves the Regulation on the organization, operation, and legal regime of local entities.

Processing and publicity

The decree establishes the notification of the resolution to Mr. Pere Pujolras Feixas, Mr. Marc Puigtió Rebollo, and Mr. Arnau Casademont Dalmau, as well as communication to the members of the Corporation and the municipal services. It also provides for publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona and reporting it to the Plenary of the Corporation at the first session it holds.

The measure ensures the continuity of municipal governance during the absence of the holder of the Mayoralty in the height of the summer season, a period in which the ordinary management of the Sant Julià de Ramis City Council is secured through the temporary substitution of the office.
