Sant Iscle authorizes the removal of asbestos from the Casal

The Sant Iscle de Vallalta City Council has put out to tender the works for the replacement of the asbestos fiber-cement sheet roofing of the Sant Iscle de Vallalta Community Center (Casal) building, an action of public health interest. The Local Governing Board unanimously approved, in an ordinary session on August 3, 2026, the Particular Administrative Clauses and the procurement file. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 4, 2026, with official reference CVE 202610136538.
Object and scope of the work
The contract, processed by the Department of Urban Planning, is tendered through a simplified open procedure with objective evaluation criteria that can be assessed automatically (100%). The work will be carried out at Carrer Escoles, 4, in Sant Iscle de Vallalta, and is not divided into lots.

Budget and guarantees
The estimated value of the contract is 82,185.64 euros (excluding VAT). The base tender budget is broken down as follows:

- Total amount: 99,444.62 euros
No provisional guarantee is required, but a definitive guarantee of 5% of the award amount, excluding VAT, is required. No extensions or variants are permitted, and advertising expenses are 0.00 euros.
Submission of bids
Interested companies have a period of 20 calendar days to submit their bids, counted from the day after the publication of the announcement on the contractor profile. Submission will be done electronically through the Public Procurement Services Platform (Digital Envelope 2.0) of the Open Administration Consortium of Catalonia (AOC).
