Sant Gregori expands the 2026 Public Employment Offer with security guard and auxiliary positions
Por FactBox Admin

The Sant Gregori City Council has approved the modification of its public employment offer (OPE) corresponding to the 2026 annual period, with the incorporation of new positions for labor staff and civil servants. The decision, taken by the Local Governing Board in an ordinary session on July 6, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 169, edict 7622, dated September 2, 2026 (CVE BOP-2026_0_169_7622), with file number X2025002855.
The modification responds to two circumstances that arose following the initial approval of the OPE, which the same Local Governing Board had agreed upon on December 9, 2025. On one hand, it had not been taken into account that the administrative assistant of the municipal offices, currently on a replacement contract, retires in September 2026. On the other, the council had committed to calling for the two municipal guard-vigilante positions of AP A C2 in a higher category via internal promotion.
New labor staff positions
In the area of labor staff, the modification incorporates two positions that will be selected by competitive examination:
- Services assistant for the senior citizens’ center (group P AP), 1 position, by competitive examination.
- Administrative assistant for the municipal offices (group C2), 1 position, by competitive examination.
This latter position covers the vacancy that will be left by the retirement of the worker with a replacement contract scheduled for next September.
Civil servant positions via internal promotion
Regarding civil servant staff, two calls are incorporated that will be processed via internal promotion, in compliance with the commitment acquired by the council:
- General administration technician, Secretariat area (group A1), 1 position, by internal promotion.
- Municipal guard-vigilantes (group C2), 2 positions, by internal promotion.
With this expansion, the city council reinforces both the administrative services and the local police force, offering the municipality’s civil servants the possibility of accessing higher categories.
The announcement, electronically signed by Joaquim Roca Ventura on August 25, 2026, represents a relevant employment opportunity for the residents and municipal workers of Sant Gregori, who see expanded avenues for access and promotion within the local administration during a period of staff renewal.
