Sant Feliu opens 60,000 euro grants for housing rentals

The Sant Feliu de Llobregat City Council has opened a call for municipal grants to facilitate access to and the rental of housing, endowed with 60,000 euros. The measure, approved by mayoral decree no. 4900/2026 of August 20, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on August 26, 2026 (official reference CVE 202610135166).
The call, promoted by the Department of Territory, Ecological Transition and Planning, aims to support both people who want to access rental housing and owners who decide to put a property on the market. The application period will open on September 1 and close on September 30, 2026.
Endowment and financing
The expenditure is processed through accounting document A 260011694, charged to budget item 26 300 15200 48900 “Social housing rental grants”, for a total amount of 60,000.00 euros. The administrative file supporting the call is BASU2026000007.
Evaluation and instruction bodies
The decree also appoints the evaluation commission and the instructing body that will intervene in the grant awarding procedure:
- President: Iván Martín Martínez, president of the Department of Territory, Ecological Transition and Planning, with Jaume Manyoses, Councilor for the Right to Housing, as substitute.
- Member: Mònica Sambade Martínez, housing technician, with Marc Campoy Sánchez, municipal architect, as substitute.
- Member: Raquel Gómez Escobar, housing technician from the Department of Personal Services, with Maite Ramon Fernández as substitute.
- Member: Albert Fetscher Vela, legal technician, with Òscar Ovejero de la Cruz as substitute.
- Secretary and instructing body: Anna Esquirol, management technician, with Ma José Navarro Morillo as substitute.
Deadlines and publicity
The call will be published in the National Grants Database (BDNS), in the BOPB, on the e-bulletin board, and on the City Council’s website. In addition to the application deadline, the general period for submitting supporting documentation will be from September 1 to November 16, 2026. The call is on public display and can be consulted via the link on the municipal website.
Against the administrative act, which exhausts administrative remedies, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Courts of First Instance of Barcelona within two months, or, optionally, a request for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the same body within one month.
The call comes in a context of pressure on the rental market in Baix Llobregat, and represents a direct tool both for families seeking housing and for owners who wish to put properties on the market with guarantees. Interested parties have the entire month of September to submit their application.
