Sant Feliu de Guíxols opens grants of 39,250 euros for school supplies

The Sant Feliu de Guíxols City Council has opened the application period for municipal grants destined for the digitalization, acquisition, and socialization of school materials. The call was approved by the Local Governing Board in the session of September 22, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOPG) no. 187, of September 29, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026_0_187_8353 (edict 8353, p. 1). The total amount of the line is 39,250.00 euros.

Beneficiaries and object of the aid

The following may apply for the call:

• Educational centers in Sant Feliu de Guíxols that provide primary education and compulsory secondary education.
• The Parents’ Associations (AMPA) of these centers, provided that the purchase of school materials is made in the name of the association.

The declared object is to stimulate the socialization of books, both in paper and digital format, as well as the acquisition of the school materials necessary for the training and schooling of children and young people in compulsory education, i.e., from 1st grade of primary to 4th year of ESO.

Regulatory bases and financing

The call is governed by two previously published regulations:

• The general bases for the granting and justification of municipal grants of the Sant Feliu de Guíxols City Council, in BOPG no. 80, of April 24, 2024, edict 3478.
• The specific regulatory bases for grants for the digitalization, acquisition, and socialization of school materials, in BOPG no. 125, of July 1, 2022, edict 5864.

The budget of 39,250.00 euros is charged to the expenditure application 05 32600 48000, Educational activity grants, with previous operation number 920260003779.

Submission deadline and processing

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days starting from the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, and no application submitted outside this period will be accepted. The publication is made in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on grants.

The full text of the call can be consulted in the National Grants Database (BDNS), with identifier 931429. The extract of the agreement is signed by the mayor, Carles Motas López, on September 22, 2026.

For families and centers in the municipality, the call opens a direct financing route to face the expense of books and school materials in the context of a school year already underway, extending coverage to both the primary stage and all compulsory ESO. However, the allocation of 39,250 euros and the deadline of 20 business days set a short processing window that beneficiaries must respect to avoid being excluded.
