Health Department announces a transfer competition for eight chemical laboratory positions

The Department of Health has announced a general transfer competition for the provision of eight vacant basic positions for chemical analysis laboratory technicians, assigned to the superior body of Sanitary and Public Health Administration of the Generalitat Administration. The call is formalized through the Resolution of September 17, 2026, of the Directorate General of Personnel, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) No. 10457, of September 23, 2026, in section II (Authorities and personnel), with official reference DOGV-C-2026-29629. The resolution bears the signature of the Director General of Personnel, María Amparo Pinazo Gamir.

Regulatory framework and origin of the positions

The competition is governed by articles 110 and following of Law 4/2021, of April 16, on the Valencian public service, and by the first section of chapter I of title III of Decree 3/2017, of January 13, of the Consell, which approves the Regulations for selection, provision of job positions, and mobility of the Valencian public service personnel. The assessment of merits conforms to the scale of Order 12/2017, of June 26, and the call is issued by virtue of the powers of article 18 of Decree 22/2025, of February 11, the organic and functional regulation of the Department of Health.

The announced positions appear as vacant in the lists of positions of a civil service nature whose management corresponds to the Department of Health, approved by the Resolution of July 3, 2026 (DOGV 10399, of July 7, 2026). The call does not include a second phase for the adjudication of remaining vacancies and, since the proportion of active women in the body and scale is not less than 40%, the tie-breaking clause favorable to women is not applied.

Eight destinations between Alicante and València

Annex I details the offered positions, all of group A1, competency level CES17, and destination 22:

• Five chemical laboratory technician positions at the Public Health Center of Alacant, dependent on the management center C.G. Salud Pública Alicante, with codes 33021, 45782, 61796, 85699, and 88837.
• Three positions at the Directorate General of Public Health in València, under the management center C.G. SSCC Conselleria de Sanidad, with codes 33083, 43422, and 45685.

Participants, deadlines, and processing

Career civil servants managed by the Department of Health who are part of the superior body of Sanitary and Public Health Administration, chemical analysis laboratory scale (A1 S03-06), may apply. Participation is voluntary for active personnel, those returning to active service, and those with a final suspension who have served their sanction; those with a permanent destination must certify a minimum of two years in the position. It is mandatory for personnel on compulsory leave, awaiting destination, and on provisional assignment, with the obligation to apply for at least the positions in their locality or the one they occupy provisionally.

The deadline for submitting applications and documentation is fifteen business days from the day following the publication of the call, and processing is exclusively electronic through the Department of Health portal and the PROP Headquarters. The General Directorate of Personnel will issue the final resolution within a maximum period of six months.

Scale, commission, and tie-breaking

The scale, type 2, scores up to a maximum of 60 points: seniority and membership in the body (20), professional career (5), training (20), performance in positions of equal or higher competency level (5), and status as a victim of terrorism or gender-based violence (10). Ties are resolved by disability equal to or greater than 33%, by score in specific merits, and, as a last resort, in alphabetical order starting with the letter “P”, as determined in the draw of January 12, 2026.

The evaluation commission, consisting of five titular members and their substitutes, is chaired by Martín Llácer Luna (substitute, Francisco Moragues Ribes), with David Romera Ureste as secretary (substitute, Javier Sáez Toledo) and the memberships of Nuria María León Ruiz, Ana Yolanda Molina Torres, and Carmen Forcada Gallén, with their respective substitutes. Appeals against the provisional proposal may be filed within ten business days.

The call opens a mobility route for civil servant healthcare personnel serving in chemical analysis laboratories, with eight destinations concentrated in Alicante and Valencia, and sets a maximum horizon of six months to know the final assignments.
