Health Department announces two high-ranking secretary positions by free appointment

The Official Gazette of Aragon number 170, dated September 2, 2026, publishes two resolutions dated August 17, 2026, from the Director General of the Civil Service, Antonio Villacampa Duque, calling for the provision, via the free appointment system, of two vacant positions for High-Ranking Secretary in the Department of Health. The calls, aimed at the civil servant personnel of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Aragon, are processed in section II (Authorities and Personnel), under the competitive examinations and contests section.

Both positions are offered in the city of Zaragoza, with level 16, a specific supplement of 11,401.20 euros, type B, and a functional area of Public Administration. The provision is carried out in accordance with article 17.5 of the consolidated text of the Law on the Organization of the Civil Service of the Autonomous Community of Aragon, approved by Legislative Decree 1/1991, of February 19, and the competence is attributed in article 6.3.w) of Decree 208/1999, of November 17, of the Government of Aragon.

Two positions in the general directorates of Health

The first call, with reference BOA20260902009, corresponds to a position in the General Directorate of Care and Humanization of the Department of Health, with RPT number 19601. The second, with reference BOA20260902010, refers to the General Directorate of Public Health, with RPT number 18516.

Requirements and submission of applications

Civil servant personnel of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Aragon who meet the requirements indicated in each resolution may apply for these positions. It is required to belong to groups C1 or C2, in the Administrative Assistant (Administrative Assistants) or General Administrative (Administrators) scales.

Applications, accompanied by a curriculum vitae and supporting documents for the claimed merits, shall be addressed to the General Directorate of the Civil Service through the Document Registry Units of the Government of Aragon or by any of the means provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The deadline is fifteen business days starting from the day following the publication in the gazette, and in the case of electronic submission, all documentation must be grouped into a single CSV.

Appeals and closing

Against these resolutions, which do not exhaust administrative remedies, an appeal for reversal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the Minister of Finance, Interior and Public Administration within one month of their publication, in accordance with articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015 and articles 60 and 64 of Law 5/2021, of June 29, on the Organization and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon.

The call opens a promotion opportunity for civil service personnel of bodies C1 and C2 of the Aragonese Administration who aspire to hold positions of trust within the health sector, at a time when the Department of Health is strengthening its support structures in the general directorates of Care and Humanization and Public Health.
