The Department of Health of the Government of Aragon has resolved the call for grants for the Aragonese Network of Local Health Initiatives (RAILES) for 2026, with a total allocation of 31,968.43 euros to seven projects, compared to the 41,610.19 euros requested. The decision is formalized in Order SAN/1548/2026, of October 15, published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 208, of October 27, 2026, with reference BOA20261027028.
The framework of the call
The resolution responds to the call opened by Order SAN/1102/2026, of July 13, published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 145, of July 29, 2026, which is based on the regulatory bases approved by Order SAN/335/2016, of April 15. The processing of the file was the responsibility of the General Directorate of Public Health, and the Evaluation Commission met on September 9, 2026; the proposal for the final resolution was formulated on October 2, 2026.
The expenditure is charged to the budgetary application 16040.4134.460065.91002 of the expenditure budget of the Department of Health for 2026, in accordance with Order HAP/1848/2025, of December 30, which regulates the extension of the 2024 regional budget. The order is signed in Zaragoza by the Minister of Health, Ángel Sanz Barea.
Eligible projects are those developed by local entities and local health networks within the framework of the Local Health Promotion Plan of their working groups, aligned with the Aragon Health Plan 2030 and the National Strategy for Health Promotion and Prevention of the NHS. Prioritized determinants include loneliness and emotional well-being, the promotion of health assets, physical activity and active aging, healthy eating, community participation, healthy environments, the healthy use of technologies, health equity, and health literacy in vulnerable groups.

The grants will be published on the Transparency Portal of the Government of Aragon and in the National Grants Database (BDNS), and publication in the bulletin serves as notification. Against the order, which exhausts the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Regional Minister of Health within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Aragon within two months.
Relevance for the territory
The distribution concentrates four of the seven projects in the city of Zaragoza and leaves the rest to local entities in rural and medium-sized areas, with granted amounts ranging between 2,358.82 and 5,592.91 euros. The funding supports local working groups throughout 2026 that address unwanted loneliness, active aging, mental health, and community participation—key pillars of the Aragon Health Plan 2030—in a fiscal year marked by a budget extension.
