San Pedro del Pinatar announces 85,700 euros in educational and sports grants

The San Pedro del Pinatar City Council has approved the call for educational and sports grants for the year 2026, with a total budget of 85,700 euros, aimed at families with economic difficulties. The decision was adopted by agreement of the Local Government Board on September 3, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia number 207, dated September 8, 2026, page 20521.

The call, identified in the National Grants Database with the code BDNS 927873, covers the acquisition of materials for the Second Cycle of Early Childhood Education and Intermediate/Higher Vocational Training Cycles and Baccalaureate, mobility assistance, the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education, and academic excellence. The amount will be charged to the budget application 2026 320/48100.

Beneficiaries and Purpose

Families with economic difficulties whose children are enrolled in the First and Second Cycles of Early Childhood Education, Baccalaureate, Intermediate and Higher Vocational Training Cycles, and official university studies leading to a degree may apply. Students with an excellent academic record interested in participating in the 2026 call may also apply.

Application Deadlines

The call establishes four application windows depending on the type of aid:

• Aid for 2nd Cycle of Early Childhood Education: from 09/14/26 to 09/25/26, both inclusive.

• Aid for 1st Cycle of Early Childhood Education: from 10/12/26 to 10/23/26, both inclusive.
• Academic Excellence Aid: from 10/26/26 to 11/06/26, both inclusive.

The official application must be addressed to the Mayor-President of the Most Excellent City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar, and can be submitted via the electronic office or at the General Registry, using the application form available on the municipal Electronic Office (https://sede.sanpedrodelpinatar.es). The announcement appears signed on September 4, 2026, by the Mayor-President, Pedro Javier Sánchez Aznar.

The call is framed within the provisions of articles 17.3 and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, which requires the publication of the summary of the call in the official gazette.
