San Miguel de Serrezuela incorporates remnant funds for general expenses

The Plenary Session of the City Council of San Miguel de Serrezuela, in an extraordinary session held on July 31, 2026, agreed to the initial approval of the Credit Modification file through the Incorporation of Liquid Surplus for General Expenses 3/2026. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 170, dated September 3, 2026, under number 1750/26.

The decision allows the municipality to allocate the liquid treasury surplus to finance general expenses, thereby expanding its spending capacity within the current budget year.

Legal Framework and Processing

The processing is based on the provisions of Article 169.1, by referral from Article 177.2, of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. In accordance with this framework, the file is subject to public consultation for a period of fifteen days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette.

During this period, the file may be examined by any interested person at the municipal offices, as well as on the entity’s electronic headquarters.
