San Ildefonso consolidates its workforce with four career civil servants

The City Council of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso has consolidated its municipal workforce with the permanent appointment of four career civil servants, according to the announcements published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia number 105, dated September 2, 2026. The appointments, signed by Mayor Samuel Alonso Llorente, are published on pages 34 and 35 of the gazette under references RC-11677 and RC-11694.

The four appointments are made under Article 62 of the Recast Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of Public Employees (Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30), which regulates the acquisition of career civil servant status and its official publication in accordance with Article 62.1.b). Two of the positions correspond to the General Administration Clerks scale and the other two to the Economic Area, filled through internal promotion and open competition selection processes.

General Administration Clerks

By Mayoral Decree 2026-1124, dated July 15, 2026, a General Administration Clerk was appointed as a career civil servant for the purpose of permanent appointment after passing the internal promotion competitive examination process. The appointment took place on July 20, 2026.

• Ms. María Henar Rico Gómez, General Administration Clerk, took office on July 20, 2026.

By Mayoral Decree 2026-1125, of the same date, a second General Administration Clerk was appointed, also via internal promotion competitive examination, taking office on the same day.

• Ms. Ana Mingoarranz García, General Administration Clerk, took office on July 20, 2026.

Economic Area Clerks

In the second announcement, the City Council publishes the appointment of two Economic Area Clerks, in this case after passing open competition selection processes. Both appointments were formalized by Mayoral Decree on August 6, 2026.

• Mr. Rubén Álvarez de Diego, Economic Area Clerk, appointed by Decree 2026-1261, took office on August 18, 2026.
• Ms. Silvia Muñumel Martín, Economic Area Clerk, appointed by Decree 2026-1260, took office on August 20, 2026.

Consolidation of the Municipal Workforce

With these four appointments, the City Council of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso reinforces its administrative structure by permanently filling positions that until now were held on an interim basis or remained vacant. The internal promotion route, used for the two General Administration positions, also allows for the professional progression of personnel already integrated into the corporation, while the open competition provides access for new staff.

The announcements, dated in the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso on August 27, 2026, are published in accordance with article 62.1.b) of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, providing official notice of the acquisition of career civil servant status by the four candidates.

The consolidation of these positions represents a significant step toward the stability of municipal personnel, guaranteeing the definitive coverage of administrative and economic functions key to the ordinary operation of the City Council and the provision of services to the residents of the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso.
