San Esteban corrects the land competition and adds four new lots

The City Council of San Esteban de Zapardiel has rectified the announcement of the tender for the lease of common lands and municipal meadows, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila (BOP) No. 180, of September 17, 2026, and has added four new lots. The correction of errors is published in BOP No. 184, of September 23, 2026, under announcement number 1883/26, and reopens the deadline for submitting bids for 15 calendar days. The measure directly affects livestock farmers and agriculturists interested in leasing rural properties within the municipal district.

Context: a tender for patrimonial assets

The tender was convened by Mayoral Resolution of September 9, 2026, and is processed under file number 78/2026 by the municipal Secretariat. Its object is the properties that constitute the common lands and meadows owned by the City Council, classified as patrimonial assets in the Municipal Inventory.

The original announcement described 17 lots with a minimum rental price per lot, which is awarded to the economically most advantageous bid for the City Council. The procedure complies with Article 85 of the General Regulation of Law 33/2003, of November 3, on the Patrimony of Public Administrations, approved by Royal Decree 1373/2009, of August 28. The correction was signed in San Esteban de Zapardiel on September 18, 2026, by the mayor, Pilar Pastor Illera.

Four new lots and a corrected price

The rectification expands the list of properties from 17 to 21 lots. The four added lots are:

• Lot 18: plot 264, polygon 6, Velorto area, common land, 1.6940 hectares, minimum price 169.40 euros.
• Lot 19: plot 5015, polygon 5, Las Eras area, pastures, 2.9968 hectares, minimum price 89.90 euros.
• Lot 20: plot 5003, polygon 6, Majuelo area, pastures, 0.9131 hectares, minimum price 27.39 euros.
• Lot 21: plot 5001, polygon 7, Hoyo Fraile area, pastures, 1.4046 hectares, minimum price 42.14 euros.

Additionally, the announcement corrects the minimum rental price for lot 17 (plot 5002 (f), polygon 4, Diez Obradas area, pastures, 5.4299 hectares), which changes from 162.90 euros to 542.99 euros. Lots 1 to 16 maintain their areas and prices.

New calendar and opening of bids

• The deadline for submitting bids is 15 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the correction of errors in the BOP, which sets the closing date as October 8, 2026.
• Bids received between the publication of the original announcement and this correction will be accepted.
• The opening of bids will take place on the following business Friday after the deadline ends, at 11:00 AM, in the Session Hall of the Town Hall.

Where and how to submit the bid

Proposals shall be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council, located at Peñaranda, s/n, 05229 San Esteban de Zapardiel (Ávila), during Secretariat office hours (Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:30), or by electronic means through the municipal electronic office. Each bidder may only submit one offer per rural property and must include the file number 78/2026.

The documentation is divided into two closed and signed envelopes: envelope “A”, containing the administrative documentation, and envelope “B”, containing the economic offer. If correctable defects are detected, a period of 10 days will be granted to rectify them.

The reopening of the deadline and the addition of four properties expand the offer of available land for the local agricultural sector, which will have two additional weeks to bid for the municipality’s pastures and common lands, while the corrected minimum price of lot 17 significantly increases the bidding rent for that property.
