Por FactBox Admin

The Local Governing Board of the Salou City Council approved in an ordinary session on October 22, 2026, the call for grants for entities, activities, and projects for youth and childhood for this year, endowed with 13,220.00 euros. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona (BOPT) on November 2, 2026, on pages 1 to 3, with the reference CVE 2026-10088. The deadline for submitting applications opens the day after publication and closes twenty business days later.
The guidelines are framed within Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves its implementing regulation. The General Subsidy Ordinance of the Salou City Council, approved by the Plenary on February 27, 2013, and published in the BOPT on May 30, 2024, also applies.
The summary is disseminated in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the state law, and the full text of the call can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database (BDNS), with the identifier 938269. The grants are awarded under a regime of publicity and competitive bidding, although they are discretionary, voluntary, and are revocable and reducible at any time according to current legislation.
Purposes of the grants and budget item
The subsidized projects must promote activities aimed at the children and youth of Salou in these areas:
- Integration into leisure and recreation.
- Training and improvement of personal skills.
- Relationship and integration into the cultural and social environment.
- Awareness of the protection of nature and the environment.
The allocation of 13,220.00 euros is assigned to the 2026 Municipal Budget, specifically to budget item 18.337.489.04. The criteria for granting the aid and determining the amount are regulated in point 8 of the guidelines, while the evaluation and resolution of the call are governed by point 9.
Requirements for beneficiary entities
Associations and legal entities that meet these conditions may apply for the grants:
- Have the registered office in Salou.
- Be registered, if applicable, in the Municipal Registry of Entities.
- Meet the specific requirements and conditions of the annex for each grant program.
The processing is entirely electronic. Applications must be submitted to the municipal electronic registry accompanied by the grant application form and the documentation detailed in point 6.6 of the guidelines. Both the forms and the full text of the guidelines are available on the Salou City Council website.
Calendar, resolution, and means of appeal
The calculation of the deadline begins the day after publication in the provincial bulletin and extends for twenty business days. The call specifies that, if no express notification occurs, the application shall be understood as rejected.
Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, the following may be filed:
- A contentious-administrative appeal before the Tarragona Court of First Instance, Contentious-Administrative Section, within a period of two months from the day after notification.
- Optionally, a request for reconsideration (recurso de reposición) before the same body that issued it, within a period of one month.
The extract is signed by Pere Granados Carrillo, Mayor of Salou, dated October 26, 2026.
The call is the ordinary funding route for the local associative fabric working with children and adolescents, and therefore requires the municipality’s entities to plan activities, budget, and a justifying report before the closing of the deadline, which arrives this November.
