Sallent opens grants for entities and individuals with 32,500 euros

The Sallent City Council has opened the call for grants under a competitive bidding process addressed to entities and individuals for the year 2026, with a maximum budget of 32,500 euros. The call was approved by the Local Governing Board in a session held on June 25, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 2, 2026, with reference CVE 202610136578.

The deadline for submitting applications is one month, counting from the day after the publication of the call’s summary in the BOPB. Regulatory framework and background

The specific regulatory bases were initially approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary on May 13, 2026, and published in the BOPB on May 18, 2026. They were definitively approved as no claims or allegations were presented during the public information period.

The call is processed in accordance with Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and is registered in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) with the identifier 926798. The awarding procedure is based on competitive bidding, and all applications submitted within the deadline will be examined together and resolved in a single administrative act.

Funding lines and amounts

The budget of 32,500 euros is distributed among six lines of action, with the following maximum amounts:

• Social Services / Equality Policies: 1,500 €
• Education: 7,000 €
• Culture and Festivals / Citizen Participation: 15,000 €
• Culture (promotion and support of cultural projects by local artists): 3,000 €
• Sports: 5,000 €
• Youth: 1,000 €

The purpose of the grants is to finance projects and activities in the lines of Culture and Festivals, Social Services, Equality Policies, Sports, Education, Youth, and Citizen Participation submitted by entities and individuals.

Who can apply and how

Beneficiaries may be non-profit entities and associations domiciled in the municipality of Sallent, legally constituted, as well as individuals. Entities that are already beneficiaries of a nominative grant, or those in which any of the circumstances provided for in Article 13.2 of Law 38/2003 occur, may not apply.

The application shall be formalized on a standardized form, available at the municipal offices and on the municipal website, and the documentation shall be submitted to the general registry of the City Council, preferably online. The required documentation includes:

• Photocopy of the ID (DNI) of the applicant and/or the legal representative
• Photocopy of the Tax ID (NIF) of the requesting entity, in the case of legal entities
• Responsible declaration of meeting the requirements to be a beneficiary
• Declaration of commitment to comply with the conditions of the grant
• Declaration of grants or other income obtained for the same purpose
• Project or activity report and estimated budget

The processing of the procedure corresponds to the Secretariat Department, and the proposal for granting will be prepared by a Technical Evaluation Commission. The maximum resolution period is three months from the closing of the submission period, and the lack of resolution will have the effect of a rejection. The announcement is signed by the acting mayor, Sílvia Tardà Serrano, on August 27, 2026.
