Salas Bajas subsidizes facade rehabilitation with 10,000 euros

The Salas Bajas City Council has opened the call for grants destined for the rehabilitation and improvement of facades of private properties located in the urban center, with a budget of 10,000 euros. The measure was approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary on March 25, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 192, dated October 7, 2026, with official reference BOPH-2026-192016. Interested owners may request up to 2,000 euros per property until December 31, 2026.

Framework of the call

The regulatory bases and the call are framed within the 2025-2026 fiscal year and were approved by the plenary body of the council, according to the extract signed by the Mayor-President, Jorge Gracia Andreu, in Salas Bajas on October 7, 2026. The declared purpose is to provide financial support for interventions regarding the rehabilitation, maintenance, restoration, aesthetic updating, and painting of facades that are visible from the public road.

The available credit for this line amounts to 10,000 euros. The call is governed by the provisions of Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, as well as by the bases approved by the Salas Bajas City Council.

Amount and beneficiaries

The aid covers a percentage of the construction cost and is distributed with a cap per property:

• Total credit of the call: 10,000 euros.
• Maximum individual amount: 40% of the cost of the action.
• Limit per property: 2,000 euros.
• Beneficiaries: owners of properties located in the urban center who comply with Article 13 of Law 38/2003 and the bases of the call.
• Eligible actions: rehabilitation, maintenance, restoration, aesthetic updating, and painting of facades visible from the public road.

Documentation and application deadline

Applicants must submit the standardized application form contained in Annex I, along with the other documents required in the bases:

• Standardized application form (Annex I).
• Responsible declaration.
• Construction budget.
• Copy of the enabling title (license).
• Proof of identity.
• Other documentation indicated in the bases.

The application submission period begins the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca and extends until December 31, 2026. The full text of the bases and the official forms are available on the municipal electronic office and on the notice board of the Salas Bajas City Council.

The call offers residents of the urban center a direct funding route to preserve and improve the appearance of their buildings, with a clear time limit requiring the application to be submitted before the end of the year. By covering up to 40% of the cost and a maximum of 2,000 euros per property, the measure seeks to incentivize maintenance works that would otherwise typically be postponed, thereby contributing to the preservation of the built heritage and the urban landscape of Salas Bajas.
