Sacyl summons Social Worker candidates following an appeal before the TSJ
Por FactBox Admin

The Administrative Litigation Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Valladolid is processing ordinary procedure no. 759/2026, filed against the resolution of the qualifying board for the Social Worker competitive examination of the Health Service of Castilla y León (Sacyl). The Regional Health Management publishes the summons in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León no. 206, of October 23, 2026, and grants interested parties a period of nine days to appear and enter the proceedings.
The edict, signed in Valladolid on September 28, 2026, responds to the orders of the Chamber itself and is issued under article 49 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Administrative Litigation Jurisdiction. The announcement is published in section I.E, within the official announcements of the Department of Health and Social Welfare, and bears the official reference BOCYL-D-23102026-206-24.
The object of the appeal
The lawsuit is filed by Ms. Laura Miguélez Corcuera against the Resolution of November 20, 2025, published on November 21, of the Qualifying Board of the selection process for access to the status of permanent statutory personnel in positions in the category of Social Worker of Sacyl. That resolution approved the list of candidates who passed the examination phase of the opposition.
The original process is the one convened by Order SAN/1418/2024, of November 25 (published in the B.O.C. y L. of December 4, 2024), which governs the entire selection and whose tenth base regulates the actions of the board and the complementary list of candidates.
Deadline, venue, and conditions for appearance
The summons is addressed to all those who have a legitimate interest in the procedure, not only to the appellant. The terms are as follows:
- Deadline: nine days to appear and enter the proceedings.
- Body: Administrative Litigation Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Valladolid.
- Venue: Angustias Street, no. 21, Valladolid.
- Legal channel: article 49 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.
- Procedure: ordinary no. 759/2026.
Anyone who does not appear within that period will not be able to intervene in the litigation later, although the judgment issued will equally affect the contested resolution.
The selection process, in figures
The call reaches its final phase in parallel with the litigation. Order SAN/988/2026, of September 24, published in BOCyL no. 192, of October 2, 2026, approved the list of candidates who passed the selection process and offered the vacancies.
- 35 candidates appear on the list of successful applicants ordered by score, led by Cristina López Enríquez with 171.150 points.
- 55 candidates make up the complementary list of those following the successful applicants by score, awaiting possible vacancies.
- 18 centers across the nine provinces appear in the offer of destinations, including hospital care complexes and primary care managements.
- Successful applicants had 15 business days to submit the required documentation to the Selection Service of the General Directorate of Personnel and Professional Development.
Who signs the edict
The document is signed by Sonsoles García Rodríguez, General Director of Personnel and Professional Development, by delegation of the Councilor for Health and Social Welfare via the order of September 28, 2026. The signatory also acts in substitution of the managing director of the Regional Health Management, in accordance with Order SAN/589/2026, of June 25 (B.O.C. and L. no. 122, of June 26), which attributes the exercise of that competence to the Vice-Councilor of Health.
The edict is dated September 28 but is not released until October 23; therefore, the count of the nine days begins with the official publication in the bulletin, not with the signing of the document.
Impact for the candidates
The appeal introduces real uncertainty regarding a call that already has successful applicants, offered destinations, and a complementary list of 55 people pending notification. Any ruling by the Chamber regarding the resolution of November 20, 2025, may alter the scoring order or the composition of the list of successful applicants, and consequently, the allocation of positions in the 18 offered centers. Those affected have nine days from publication to decide whether to appear and defend their position in procedure 759/2026.
