Sacedón definitively approves its municipal budget for 2026

The Sacedón City Council has definitively approved the General Budget of the Entity for 2026, for a total amount of 3,077,493.19 euros, both in income and expenditures. The agreement, adopted in a plenary session on July 22, 2026, has become final as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 159, dated August 20, 2026.
The approval is based on articles 112.3 of Law 7/85, of April 2, 169.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, and 127 of the Revised Text of the Local Regime of April 18, 1986. The document, signed by Mayor Francisco Pérez Torrecilla on August 18, 2026, details the summary of income and expenditures and the municipality’s personnel staff.
Income and expenditures for the fiscal year
The budget balances the income and expenditure items at 3,077,493.19 euros. On the income side, current operations concentrate the majority of the funding:
- Direct taxes: €1,333,865.69
- Indirect taxes: €49,010.98
- Fees and other income: €611,541.33
- Current transfers: €1,063,591.94
- Patrimonial income: €8,564.44
- Capital transfers: €10,918.81
In the expenditure chapter, current operations absorb practically the entire budget, with the following items:
- Personnel expenses: €1,086,696.56
- Current goods and services expenses: €1,667,301.65
- Financial expenses: €5,983.52
- Current transfers: €221,548.92
- Real investments: €95,962.54
Personnel staff
The agreement incorporates the municipality’s personnel staff, which is structured into three blocks. In the civil servants block, there is a secretary-auditor, an A2 administration technician (vacant), and a bailiff. The permanent contractual staff includes two administrative assistants, one administrative assistant for the OMIC (vacant), an orderly, a library auxiliary technician, three cleaners (one vacancy), five home care assistants, a sports instructor, an assistant sports instructor (vacant), a brigade foreman (vacant), a multi-service official, and two multi-service laborers. The temporary contractual staff comprises two laborers with a dedication of four months per year, a first-class official and a laborer for production needs, as well as the team from the Women’s Center (a jurist, a psychologist, and a social worker).
Appeals against the agreement
Pursuant to Article 172.1 of the aforementioned Royal Legislative Decree, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the general budget, in the form and within the time limits established by the rules of said jurisdiction, starting from the day following the publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.
Publication in the official gazette renders the budget final and allows the Sacedón City Council to execute its economic management for the 2026 fiscal year, with a balance between income and expenditure that will condition the provision of services, investments, and the municipality’s personnel policy during the year.
