Sabiñánigo approves the link roundabout between Serrablo, Biescas and Azpe

The Sabiñánigo City Council has initially approved the project for the works on the roundabout that will connect Serrablo Street, Biescas Avenue and Azpe Square, with a budget of 402,065.96 euros (VAT included). The agreement, adopted by the Local Government Board on 12 August 2026, is published this Friday, 14 August, in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Huesca (reference BOPH-2026-154009). The file is subject to public inspection for fifteen days so that interested parties may consult it and submit objections.

The project has been drafted by the Technical Public Works Engineer Santiago Laborda Farrán and the Civil Engineer Silvia Casas Larrosa, from the firm AB Ingeniería Civil, SL. This is the municipal action with the largest budget among those announced in this issue of the bulletin, ahead of the repair of leaks in the multipurpose basin of the municipal swimming pool in Pomar de Cinca, also initially approved in the same edition with a budget of 93,543.35 euros (VAT included).

The project and its budget

The roundabout will connect three roads in Sabiñánigo’s urban layout: Serrablo Street, Biescas Avenue and Azpe Square. The budget for the works amounts to 402,065.96 euros, VAT included. The corresponding administrative file has already been processed and is available for anyone who wishes to consult it.

Public information procedure

The initial agreement was adopted at the meeting of the Local Government Board on 12 August 2026, and the notice signed by the mayoress-president Berta Fernández Pueyo on 13 August is published in issue 154 of the Official Bulletin of the Province of Huesca, within the Local Administration section of the Sabiñánigo City Council. The file is available for inspection at the General Secretariat of the City Council and is subject to public information for fifteen days, counted from the day following the publication of the notice, that is, from 15 August 2026.

During that period, legitimate interested parties may consult the file and submit any claims they deem appropriate. If none are submitted, the initial agreement will become final without the need for any further agreement, as stated in the notice itself.

The roundabout will regulate traffic at a point where three roads in Sabiñánigo converge and is, by far, the largest municipal investment announced in this bulletin. With the period for objections having expired without any claims, the initial approval will become final and the project can continue its processing, in works that will affect traffic around Azpe square and Biescas avenue. Interested residents have the opportunity to review the file and submit objections before the project is closed.
