Rupit and Pruit tender the improvement of the water tank connections

The Rupit i Pruit City Council has opened the bidding process for the project “Improvement of connections to the Rupit and Pruit Reservoirs, Lot 1”, with a base budget of 130,346.92 euros including VAT. The call is published in the edition of the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 8, 2026, with official reference CVE 202610137972, and the edict is dated September 3, 2026.

The procurement file and the specific administrative clauses were approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary, along with the opening of the award procedure, which will be processed via the ordinary route and in a simplified open procedure, based on the most economically advantageous offer with several award criteria.

Object and scope of the works

The object of the contract is the execution of the project to improve the connections to the municipal reservoirs, which is to be carried out within the municipality of Rupit i Pruit, specifically at the reservoirs of Pruit, el Soler, and Pinòs. The expected duration of the contract is two months.

Guarantees and submission conditions

No provisional guarantee is required, while the definitive guarantee will be 5% of the award amount, excluding VAT. Offers must be submitted to the Document Entry Registry of the Rupit i Pruit City Council, before 2:00 PM on the day the deadline expires.

• Submission deadline: twenty calendar days following the publication of the announcement on the contractor profile.
• Offer maintenance period: two months.
• Admission of variants: not permitted.
• Advertising expenses: to be borne by the successful contractor, with a predicted maximum of 1,000.00 euros.

Processing and award

The processing is ordinary, with a simplified open procedure and an award method based on several criteria, as established in the specific administrative clauses. The date and time of the bid opening act will be published on the contractor profile and notified to the bidders.
