Roquetas requires B and C licenses for beach mobile park officers

The Roquetas de Mar City Council has approved a partial modification of the terms of the call to fill four positions for beach mobile park official, requiring applicants to hold driving licenses B and C. The agreement, adopted by the Local Government Board in an ordinary session on July 28, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería number 161, dated August 21, 2026, under file 2026/9286.

The decision stems from a proposal by the Department of Internal Government and Education dated July 21, 2026, and was signed by the mayor-president, Gabriel Amat Ayllón, on August 4, 2026. The announcement is disseminated for general knowledge and record, with the exception of article 206 of the Organization and Operation Regulations.

A requirement linked to vehicle operation

The terms of the selection process to access the four permanent labor staff positions in the category of Beach Mobile Park Official, through an open competitive examination system, were published in the BOP of Almería number 138, dated July 21, 2026. The analysis, description, and evaluation of the positions revealed that the tasks focus especially on driving vehicles from the mobile park, therefore it was considered necessary to specify the required license in the 2nd and 10th stipulations of the terms.

The driving license requirement is limited to licenses B and C, which applicants must hold before the end of the final day for submitting applications to participate in the selection process. The remaining technical matters approved by the Local Government Board in its session on June 13, 2026, are considered reproduced.

Positions and process conditions

The call provides for four positions of Beach Mobile Park Official as permanent labor staff, filled by open competition. Key conditions of the process include:

• Possession of driving licenses B and C as of the final day for submitting applications.
• Publication of the call announcement in the Official State Gazette.
• Dissemination of the agreement in the BOP of Almería and on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Roquetas de Mar City Council.

Processing and publication

The agreement was adopted by the Local Government Board by delegation of the mayor-president, in accordance with the decree of June 21, 2023, published in the BOP of Almería number 124, dated June 30, 2023. The proposal was submitted to the board in accordance with article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The modification affects only the second and tenth sections of the terms, clarifying the driving license requirement without altering the other conditions of the selection process.
