Riudoms approves the pumptrack at Passeig Germans Nebot for the youth

The Local Governing Board of Riudoms, in its session on August 31, 2026, definitively approved the basic and executive project for the construction of a pumptrack and the adaptation of its surroundings at passeig Germans Nebot, number 79, and carrer del Terral, number 7, in the town. The agreement, corresponding to file 4909/2025, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 4, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-08252.

The publication is made in compliance with article 38.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities. The announcement is electronically signed by the mayor, Ricard Gili Ferré, on September 1, 2026.

A new leisure infrastructure for youth

The project provides for the construction of a pumptrack, a circuit track with bumps and banked turns designed for bicycles, scooters, and skates, which will become a new space for leisure and sports practice for the young people of Riudoms. The action also includes the adaptation of the immediate surroundings of the facility, located between passeig Germans Nebot and carrer del Terral.

The initiative is part of the council’s desire to expand the outdoor leisure and sports facilities of the municipality, with a provision designed for recreational and local use.

Deadlines and appeals

The agreement, which is final in administrative proceedings, opens the door to the filing of appeals by anyone who considers themselves aggrieved:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the body that issued the agreement, within a period of one month starting from the day after the publication of the announcement.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Court of First Instance of Tarragona, Contentious-Administrative Section, within a period of two months starting from the day after the publication.
