Riudarenes approves the 2026 OPO with positions for educator and 2nd class official

The Riudarenes City Council has approved the public employment offer (OPO) for the year 2026, which includes three labor staff positions to reinforce the municipal workforce. The decision was made by the Local Governing Board in a session on August 12, 2026, and the announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 161, dated August 21, 2026 (edict 7376, CVE BOP-2026_0_161_7376).

The announced positions

The offer is processed under the ordinary replacement rate and is distributed across three labor staff positions, with two different access routes:

• Municipal Nursery School Educator: 1 position, group/subgroup C1, via competitive examination (concurs-oposició).
• 2nd Class Official: 1 position, group/subgroup AP, via competitive examination (concurs-oposició).
• Municipal Nursery School Educator: 1 position, group/subgroup C1, via internal promotion.

Legal framework and processing

The call is based on article 70 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which regulates the Revised Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, and article 91 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime. Both regulations require local entities to annually approve and publish their employment offer to guarantee access to public service under conditions of equality, merit, and capacity.

The announcement was signed by the mayor, Josep Solé Turon, on August 13, 2026, and is made public for the general knowledge of persons interested in applying for the positions.
