Riells i Viabrea appoints a local police officer as a career civil servant

The City Council of Riells i Viabrea has announced the appointment of a local police officer as a career civil servant, integrated into the special administration group, group C1. The decision, signed by the mayor-president Josep Maria Bagot i Belfort, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 168, edict 7567, dated September 1, 2026, with official reference BOP-2026_0_168_7567.

The appointment is made in compliance with the provisions of article 82 of Decree 214/1990, of July 30, which approves the Regulations for personnel in the service of local entities, and article 291.e of the revised text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia. The edict, electronically signed on August 21, 2026, provides public notice of the consolidation of the position.

A selection process by open competitive examination

The position was announced through decree number 330, of March 25, 2025, which approved the bases and the call for the selection tests by open competitive examination for the provision of one local police officer position in Riells i Viabrea. The position is classified as:

Passing of tests and internship period

Mr. Cristian Eñeso Alcaide passed the competitive examination tests of the selection process. Since he had already completed the Basic Training Course organized by the Police School of Catalonia, he began the internship period on August 1, 2025.

The internship period, established for one year, ended on July 31, 2026, from which point the officer’s status as a career civil servant was consolidated.
