Merit competition for group leader at Virgen de África resolved

The General Directorate of Personnel of the Andalusian Health Service has published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía the final resolution of the merit-based competition called to fill an intermediate management position as Head of Management and Services Group of the Virgen de África Clinical Management Unit, in the Primary Care Health District of Seville. The resolution, signed on September 3, 2026, designates José Antonio Velázquez Pelayo for appointment.

The announcement appears in issue number 174 of the BOJA, corresponding to Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in the Authorities and Personnel section, within the appointments, situations, and incidents subsection, under the Ministry of Presidency, Health, and Emergencies.

Regulatory Framework

The call is processed under article 12.2 of Decree 132/2021, of April 6, which regulates the system for filling management positions and intermediate roles in the health centers of the Andalusian Health Service.
