Surface renewal on roads LE-4615 and LE-6709 opens for public consultation

The Provincial Council of León has provisionally approved, by Presidential Decree dated August 20, 2026, the works project for the “Surface renovation in the town crossings of provincial road LE-4615 and improvement of access to Villalmán on road LE-6709”. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León number 164, dated August 28, 2026, with reference BOP-LE-2026-164001.

The action, framed within the area of Public Works (Fomento), is subject to public consultation for a period of thirty days starting from the publication of the announcement in the gazette, in accordance with the provisions of Article 93 of R.D.L. 781/1986, of April 18.

A project affecting road safety

The works include the renovation of the surface in the town crossings of provincial road LE-4615 and the improvement of access to the town of Villalmán on the LE-6709, two sections of the provincial road network that directly affect road safety and the residents of those areas. The processed file is 1882458A.

During the public consultation period, the project may be examined at the offices of the Public Works Service in León, at Plaza de la Regla, s/n, Edificio Torreón, as well as through the link enabled in the electronic administration platform repository.

The announcement will also be published on the notice board of the Council’s electronic headquarters, in the section Public Works – projects under public exhibition:

• Deadline: 30 days from publication in the gazette

If no claims or suggestions are submitted within the granted period, the approval agreement, until then provisional, shall be understood as definitively adopted without the need for a new resolution.

Signature and delegation of powers

The announcement is signed by the Provincial Deputy for Infrastructure, Mobile Fleet and Products of León, Roberto Aller Llanos, in the exercise of the powers conferred by delegation of the Presidency through Resolution No. 10.355/2023, of September 13.

The surface renovation in these provincial sections represents a direct improvement for the safety and comfort of the drivers and residents who travel daily on the LE-4615 and the LE-6709. Citizen participation during the public consultation period allows affected parties to submit allegations before the project is definitively approved and its execution can be tendered.
