The Teruel Provincial Service of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment of the General Deputation of Aragon has opened for public consultation the request for prior administrative and construction authorization for the renovation project of the 20 kV high-voltage line (LAMT) “Mora”, promoted by Edistribución Redes Digitales SLU. The announcement, number 2026-2617, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel number 177, dated September 16, 2026, and corresponds to file TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-020.

The action is framed within Article 125 of Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the activities of transport, distribution, marketing, and supply of electrical energy and the authorization procedures for installations. The project responds to the impact that the new layout of the A-232 road has on the existing line; therefore, its renovation is proposed between new support no. 1 and existing supports no. 3, no. 117, and no. 122, in rural polygons 4, 5, 6, 51, and 52 of the municipality of Mora de Rubielos.

Technical characteristics of the project

The renovation involves the replacement of six of the eight line supports and the installation of new conductors over an aerial length of 898.05 meters.

  • Voltage: 20 kV.
  • Conductor: 94-AL1/22-ST1A.
  • Origin: section 1, existing support no. 3; section 2, existing support no. 1.
  • End: section 1, existing support no. 122; section 2, existing support no. 117.
  • Aerial length: 898.05 m, with 489.2 m of new conductor (LA-110) and 408.76 m of re-tensioned existing conductor (LA-56 and LA-78).
  • Supports: eight in total, six to be replaced; six new of types C-2000-22, C-2000-24, C-4500-20, C-9000-26, and C-7000-26.
  • Budget: €119,632.33.
  • Installation type: NER financed by third parties.

Additionally, a gas-insulated switch-disconnector, motorized and with remote control, will be installed on new support no. 1, and the installation will be adapted for the protection of birdlife by covering clamps, bridges, terminals, auto-valves, and terminals.

Deadline and form for allegations

The project may be examined at the Teruel Provincial Service of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment, located at calle San Francisco, 1, 44001 Teruel. Interested parties will have a period of thirty days from the day following the publication of the announcement to submit allegations, in the forms provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedure.

Allegations must be addressed to the aforementioned Provincial Service, indicating as a reference “Public information. High Voltage Reform LAMT 20 kV ‘Mora’ between new support no. 1 and existing supports no. 3, no. 117 and no. 122. File no. TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-020”. The publication is also carried out for the purposes of notification provided for in Article 45 of the same law. The announcement was electronically signed on September 3, 2026, by the director of the Provincial Service, Ms. Lucía Villalba Valenzuela.

Relevance for residents

The reform of this medium-voltage line is a necessary action to guarantee the electricity supply in Mora de Rubielos and its surroundings, affected by the execution of the new route of the A-232 road. The opening of the public information process offers residents, owners of land in the affected estates, and other interested parties the opportunity to learn about the project and submit allegations before the prior administrative and construction authorization is resolved.
