Redondela publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for the 2023-2024 OPE

The mayor of the Concello de Redondela issued Resolution no. 2026-3215, dated 08/31/2026, approving the provisional list of admitted and excluded persons in the selection processes convened to fill vacant positions for career civil servants and permanent contractual staff included in the Public Employment Offers of 2023 and 2024. The resolution was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 169, on September 3, 2026.

The announcement affects hundreds of applicants competing for positions as general administration assistant, works and services official, works supervisor, and garden operator, all full-time and via the open competition system. The period for submitting applications took place between 06/25/2026 and 07/22/2026.

Regulatory framework and background

The general rules regulating the call were published in BOPPO no. 50, on 03/13/2015, and its rectifications in BOPPO no. 77 (04/22/2016), no. 25 (02/08/2021), and no. 152 (08/10/2022). The specific rules for the positions of the 2023 and 2024 OPE, published respectively in BOPPO no. 249 (12/29/2023) and no. 250 (12/27/2024), appeared in BOPPO no. 234, on 12/05/2025.

The modification of the specific rules for the garden operator position process, included in the 2024 OPE, was published in BOPPO no. 92, on 05/18/2026.

Positions and admitted persons

The resolution lists the provisional admission in the following processes:

• General administration assistant (2 positions, career civil servant): 159 persons admitted.
• Works and services official (1 position, career civil servant): 15 persons admitted.
• Works and services officials (2 positions, internal promotion): 4 persons admitted.
• Works supervisor (1 position, career civil servant): 12 persons admitted.
• Garden operator (1 position, permanent contractual): 39 persons admitted.

Excluded persons and causes

The provisional list also includes exclusions, motivated by a lack of documentation:

• General administration assistant: 3 excluded due to lack of a copy of a valid ID (Pérez Fernández, Emilio; Santiago Rodríguez, Romina María; Veiga Darriba, Pablo).
• Works and services officials (internal promotion): 2 excluded for not complying with the third section of the specific rules regarding the category (Barros Márquez, José Ricardo; Riobó Hermida, José Manuel).
• Works supervisor: 1 excluded due to lack of a copy of a valid driver’s license (Lago Figueroa, María del Pilar).
• Garden operator: 1 excluded due to lack of a copy of the driver’s license (Giráldez Barros, Anabel).

Period for appeals

Excluded persons have a period of 10 business days, counted from the day following the publication of the resolution, to correct the defect that led to the exclusion or to rectify other non-excluding documentation. Should claims arise, a new resolution must be issued granting or denying them, with the publication of the final list in the BOPPO, on the notice board, and on the council’s website.

The fact of appearing on the list of admitted candidates does not prejudice whether the interested persons are recognized as possessing the required requirements, which must be documented in the event of passing the selection tests. The publication of this provisional list represents a key step for hundreds of applicants awaiting their continuity in the process toward the final filling of the positions.
