Por FactBox Admin

The Redondela City Council opens the application period for subsidies destined for social service programs for the 2026 fiscal year, with a global credit of 10,000 euros. The bases and the call are signed by the Department of Community Social Services, Equality, Elderly People and Childhood and are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 213, of Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in the Local Administration section, with the official reference 2026076624. Interested entities have until November 13 and must submit all documentation exclusively electronically.
Ten thousand euros for five lines of action
The convened amount, 10,000 euros, will be charged to item 2311A/4890000 of the council’s current budget. The call distributes this credit among five lines of work:
- Prevention of social exclusion and promotion of social inclusion and accessibility.
- Promotion of social volunteering.
- Care for childhood in groups that intervene with children from Redondela.
- Prevention of social isolation of the elderly in the municipality.
- Prevention and promotion of healthy habits.
The grants are processed through competitive bidding and each entity can only present one activity. Investment and operating expenses, amounts paid to the council for the use of facilities, interests and surcharges, leisure trips, popular and gastronomic festivals, the editing of publications, conferences and talks that are not considered courses, gifts, and any expense linked to other calls or agreements of the council itself are excluded.
Requirements: municipal registry and statutory purposes
Legally constituted, non-profit associations and collectives that are registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the Redondela City Council and have purposes expressly linked to the object of the call in their statutes may be beneficiaries. Furthermore, they must meet these requirements:
- Have duly justified subsidies from previous calls, an approved extension, or a written waiver.
- Be up to date with tax obligations to the council.
- Develop the activity with the population registered (empadronada) in Redondela.
- Not incur the prohibitions of article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia.
The council will manage ex officio the certificates of registration in the municipal registry and of being up to date with the local treasury; those from Social Security, State Treasury, and Regional Treasury will be incorporated when the entity authorizes their consultation.
Only electronic office and deadline until November 13
Submission shall be made solely through the municipal electronic office (https://redondela.sedelectronica.gal), in accordance with article 14.2.a) of Law 39/2015, of October 1. If an entity submits the application on paper, electronic rectification will be required, and the date of submission will be considered as the date of said rectification. Supporting documentation must be provided together with the application, not afterwards.
The deadline for application and justification ends on November 13, 2026, although 5 business days will open from the publication of the summary of the bases in the BOPPO. The bases are also disseminated on the municipal website (www.redondela.gal).
Scale, valuation commission and payment
The valuation combines four criteria: impact on the municipality according to the number of participants (from 10 to 40 points), duration of the activity (from 10 to 40), type of activity (from 20 to 30), and the parity composition of the board of directors (from 5 to 20 points). The instruction corresponds to the official of the Social Services department M.ª del Carmen Fernández Dopazo. The valuation commission is chaired by the mayor Digna Rosa Rivas Gómez, together with councilwomen Iria Vilaboa Álvarez and M.ª Rita Pérez Táboas, with alternates Antonio Cabaleiro Covelo and Alberto Alvarez Pérez, and the workers Alejandra Fernández Conde and the instructor herself as secretary with voice but without vote.
The Mayor’s Office resolves after the audit of the Municipal Comptroller, within a maximum period of three months from the end of the application period; if there is no express resolution, the request is understood to be denied. Payment reaches 70% of the justified amount, up to the limit of the granted quantity, and entities with aid exceeding 3,000 euros must prove they are up to date with their tax obligations and Social Security. The grants are compatible with other sources of financing, except those from the council itself or its agreements.
The call has a limited financial scope but a direct impact on the local associative fabric: Redondela associations working with children, elderly people, volunteering, or healthy habits have only ten days to prepare the report, justification, and certification of the board of directors and upload them to the electronic office.
