Rábade aproba o padrón das escolas deportivas por 11.403 euros

The Rábade City Council has approved the tax roll for the municipal sports schools corresponding to the first quarter of the 2026-2027 academic year, namely the months of October, November, and December, for a total amount of 11,403.00 euros. The approval was agreed upon by the mayor, Remedios González Cabarcos, by resolution dated October 26, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 254, Thursday, November 5, 2026, under reference R. 2989. Starting the day after publication, a fifteen-day period is opened for families to examine the roll and present any claims they deem appropriate.

A tax roll of 11,403 euros for the autumn quarter

The approved document settles the collection for the activities of the municipal sports schools for a full academic quarter, covering October to December 2026. These are the details collected in the official announcement:

  • Object: tax roll of the municipal sports schools.
  • Settled period: first quarter of the 2026-2027 academic year (October, November, and December).
  • Total amount: 11,403.00 euros.
  • Approving body: Mayor’s Office of the Rábade City Council.
  • Date of resolution: October 26, 2026.
  • Publication: Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo no. 254, November 5, 2026, reference R. 2989.

Fifteen days to review the bill

The public exhibition of the roll for fifteen days, counted from the day following its publication in the provincial gazette, is the procedure that allows families to verify if the bill data —registered persons and settled amount— match the service actually provided. Within this period, the roll can be examined and claims deemed pertinent can be filed against it.

The resolution signed by Remedios González Cabarcos adds that the publication of this announcement serves as a collective notification for all taxpayers included in the roll, under the provisions of the General Tax Law. This means that individual notices will not be sent to the affected residents: the announcement in the provincial gazette is, in itself, the official communication of the charge.

Automatic charge to direct debit accounts

According to the published text, the bills are set up for direct debit, so they will be sent to the respective financial entities for charging to the accounts designated by the taxpayers themselves. Families who have direct debit payment must, therefore, have sufficient balance on the charge date to avoid returns.

The announcement is part of the ordinary collection activity of the Rábade City Council and shares a page in the same gazette with another municipal announcement regarding collection, specifically relating to the water canon, which concentrates several public law revenue settlements of the municipality in a single issue of the BOP de Lugo.

Why it matters

The amount of 11,403.00 euros reflects the weight that the sports school service carries in the municipal treasury of Rábade, a small municipality where the quarterly bill for sports activities is charged per census and via direct debit. For the user families, the practical consequence is immediate: review the receipt during the fifteen days of exhibition and, in the event of detecting errors in the registration or the amount, file a claim before the charge becomes effective, as the publication in the bulletin replaces any individual notification.
