Quintanar de la Orden publishes admitted candidates for two Local Police positions

The City Council of Quintanar de la Orden has made public the provisional list of admitted applicants for the permanent appointment of two Local Police Officer positions, with no applicants being excluded. The call for applications is published via the Mayoral Resolution contained in Decree 2026-1349, dated August 28, 2026, and appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 168, dated September 3, 2026.

The selection process began with the approval of the guidelines on June 12, following the Service’s proposal and the legal report, and was convened by the Mayoral Resolution of June 15, 2026 (Decree 2026-0943). The announcement was disseminated in the BOP on June 19 and in the DOCM on July 2, and the application deadline has already expired.

The advertised positions

The two vacancies correspond to the position of Local Police Officer, with the following characteristics:

• Nature: career civil servant.
• Scale: Special Administration, Special Services sub-scale.
• Group/Subgroup: C/C1.
• Level: 19.
• Working day: full-time.
• Number of vacancies: 2 positions.

Admitted applicants and evaluation committee

The provisional list of admitted candidates consists of two applicants, and since there are no exclusions, the list becomes final upon the publication of the announcement in the gazette:

• Alfonso Montealegre Ortiz (entry registry 2026-E-RE-2909, 07/22/2026).
• Miguel Hernández Manzanero (entry registry 2026-E-RE-2564, 07/07/2026).

For the selection, the Evaluation Committee has been appointed, with Alejandro Villanueva Escudero as president and Jesús Espinosa Galán as secretary, along with members Rafael Molina-Prados Fernández-Caballero, Manuel Santiago Borox Mora, Consuelo Rico Lucas, and Miriam Gallego Martínez, each with their corresponding substitute.

Date and location of the test

The selection test will take place on September 15, 2026, at 09:00 hours in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of Quintanar de la Orden. The resolution, signed by Mayor Pablo Nieto Toldos on August 31, 2026, also orders the notification of the appointment to the committee members and the publication of the list on the municipal electronic office and the notice board for wider dissemination.

The call represents a significant opportunity for candidates in the region, as two stable positions in the Local Police staff are filled in a municipality within the La Mancha region. The absence of exclusions streamlines the process and allows the two admitted applicants to proceed directly to the test on September 15.
