Quintana Redonda expropriates twelve estates to open the La Carrera road

The City Council of Quintana Redonda has definitively approved the project and the itemized list of assets and rights affected by the road opening and surface improvement works on La Carrera Street, according to the Plenary agreement adopted in the session of July 30, 2026. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 112, dated September 25, 2026, with the official reference BOPSO-112-25092026 (document 1741, pages 3304-3305). In total, 1,355.07 square meters are being expropriated, distributed among twelve urban and rural properties within the municipal district.

Twelve properties and 1,355 square meters

The publication is carried out in compliance with Article 21.2 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law, once the project has been definitively approved by the municipal Plenary. The list details for each property the cadastral reference, the area to be expropriated, the ownership, and the value of the compensation:

• Calle Antonio Machado 12 (cadastral ref. 1801613WM3110S0001MB): 45.86 m², owned by María Asunción Carnicero Aragonés, €2,309.16.
• Polígono 304, parcela 5043 (42236A304050430000TL): 198.84 m², owned by María Encarnación Lafuente Llorente, €10,012.06.
• Calle Carrera 29 (1801602WM3110S001BB): 765.48 m², owned by the heirs of Pedro Berrojo Núñez, €38,543.73.
• Calle Carrera 27 (1901001WM311OS0001WB): 0.47 m², owned by José María Font Carnicero, €23.67.
• Calle Carrera 33 (1902910WM3110S00001TB): 4.16 m², owned by the heirs of Santiago Núñez Diago, €209.47.
• Calle Carrera 35 (1902909WM3110S0001MB): 7.95 m², owned by Mónica Pérez Rodrigo (50%) and David Pérez Rodrigo (50%), €400.30.
• Calle Carrera 37 (1902908WM3110S0001FB): 49.55 m², owned by Florentino Bados Moreno, €2,494.36.
• Calle Carrera 39 (1902907WM3110S0001TB): 28.02 m², owned by María Cruz Julia Corredor Barranco, €1,410.87.
• Calle Carrera 41 (1902906WM3110S0001LB): 35.58 m², owned by Elvira Romero Corredor, €1,791.54.
• Calle Carrera 43 (1902905WM3110S0001PB): 36.83 m², owned by María Concepción Izquierdo Moreno, Carmen Izquierdo Moreno, and Ana María Izquierdo Moreno (33.33% each), €1,854.48.
• Calle Carrera 45 (1902904WM3110S0001QB): 92.81 m², owned by the heirs of Pedro Berrojo Núñez, €4,673.20.
• Calle Carrera 51 (902901WM3120S0001BQ): 89.52 m², owned by César Nicolás La Fuente, Mario Nicolás Lafuente, and María Mercedes Nicolás Lafuente (33.33% each), €4,507.54.

The highest compensations

The heirs of Pedro Berrojo Núñez hold the two largest compensations in the file: 38,543.73 euros for the property on Carrera 29 street and 4,673.20 euros for the one on Carrera 45 street, totaling 43,216.93 euros and 858.29 square meters, more than half of the total affected area. The second highest individual amount is that of María Encarnación Lafuente Llorente, with 10,012.06 euros for 198.84 square meters of rustic land in polygon 304.

At the opposite end, the smallest expropriation is that of José María Font Carnicero, barely 0.47 square meters on Carrera 27 street, valued at 23.67 euros. The rest of the properties range between the 209.47 euros of the heirs of Santiago Núñez Diago and the 4,507.54 euros of the Nicolás Lafuente family.

Deadlines and appeal process

The agreement of the City Council of Quintana Redonda ends the administrative process, in accordance with the provisions of Law 29/1998, of July 13. Alternatively, the following may be filed against it:

• An optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) within one month before the same body that issued the agreement.
• A contentious-administrative appeal before the Court of First Instance of Soria, Contentious-Administrative Section, within two months starting from the day following the receipt of the notification.

The document was signed in Quintana Redonda on September 21, 2026, by the mayor, Sergio Frías Pérez.

The publication opens the procedure through which the affected owners officially learn of the area they are losing and the compensation corresponding to them, a preliminary step to the occupation of the land to execute the road. For the residents of La Carrera street, the action represents both an improvement in the surface and accessibility as well as the definitive loss of strips of their plots, with amounts ranging from 23.67 to 38,543.73 euros.
