Quintana Redonda publishes the water tax census

The City Council of Quintana Redonda has approved, in a plenary session held on July 30, 2026, the census and the collection list for the water tax corresponding to the first semester of 2025. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria, number 103, dated September 4, 2026, with the reference BOPSO-103-04092026.

The approval is carried out for the purposes of collective notification of taxpayers and the submission of the censuses to the public information process, as provided for in article 102.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Sergio Frías Pérez, dated September 1, 2026.

Public exhibition and allegations

The censuses and collection lists are available to the public on the City Council’s electronic office and on the municipal notice board for a period of twenty calendar days, counted from their publication in the provincial gazette. During this period, those who consider themselves interested parties may submit as many observations, allegations, or claims as they deem appropriate.

Appeal for reversal

An administrative appeal for reversal may be filed against the act of approval of the censuses and the settlements contained therein before the Mayor’s Office within a period of one month, counted from the day following the end of the public exhibition period. The appeal is regulated by article 14 of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.

Voluntary payment period

In accordance with article 62.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17, taxpayers are informed that the tax will be collected during the voluntary payment period established by the Collection Service of the Provincial Council of Soria. Residents should stay alert to the communication of the payment period to avoid surcharges.

The publication of this census allows the taxpayers of Quintana Redonda to know their water tax settlements and exercise their rights to allegation and appeal within the legal deadlines, guaranteeing transparency in municipal tax management.
