Quintana Redonda consolidates an extraordinary credit of 605,000 euros for 2026

The City Council of Quintana Redonda has finalized credit modification file no. 1/26 of its 2026 General Municipal Budget, under the modality of an extraordinary credit. The agreement, adopted by the Plenary in the session of July 30, 2026, was definitively approved as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The edict is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 111, dated September 23, 2026, in section II. Local Administration, page 3287, with the official reference BOPSO-111-23092026.

Processing of the file

The modification began with the initial approval of the file by the municipal Plenary on July 30, 2026. The agreement was then submitted for public information for a period of fifteen business days starting from the day following its insertion in the provincial gazette, a procedure that took place in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 94, dated August 14, 2026, page 2794.

After this period elapsed without any allegations being formulated, the file was finalized, as stated in the edict signed in Quintana Redonda on September 18, 2026, by the mayor, Sergio Frías Pérez.

Modification figures

The municipality’s expenditure budget is increased by 605,000.00 euros, entirely allocated to chapter 6 of the classification by chapters:

• Chapter 6: 605,000.00 euros.
• Total increase: 605,000.00 euros.

This amount is financed by two sources of resources:

• Credit operation: 500,000.00 euros.
• Liquid treasury surplus for general expenses: 105,000.00 euros.
• Total financing: 605,000.00 euros.

Deadlines and means of appeal

Against the agreement, which is now final, interested parties may file a contentious-administrative appeal within two months, counting from the day following the publication of the edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria. The announcement does not detail other means of appeal nor the distribution of expenditure by specific projects or actions.

Impact for residents

The operation provides the council with spending margin for investments for the remainder of the fiscal year, but commits 500,000 euros in new debt and consumes 105,000 euros of the available surplus. The calendar is relevant for the municipality’s taxpayers and suppliers: any appeal must be filed before two months have passed since September 23, 2026.
