Por FactBox Admin

The Puerto Real City Council has increased the available credit for the call for grants, under a competitive bidding process, destined for non-profit entities for 2026 by 42,376 euros, bringing the total to 136,376 euros. The decision was adopted via Decree No. 2026-2897, dated October 1, 2026, by the Deputy Mayor delegated to the Area of Culture Promotion and Citizen Participation, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz No. 202, dated October 20, 2026 (announcement No. 338,521). The extension does not imply the opening of a new application period.
The master call was approved by Decree No. 2026-2091, dated July 17, 2026, by the same municipal body, and was published in the BOP of Cádiz No. 146, dated July 31, 2026. Its identification in the National Grants Database is BDNS 920340, where the full text of the call can be consulted.
The summary is based on Article 4 of the specific regulatory bases of the call and Article 58 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants, and is disseminated in accordance with Articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the latter regulation.
Distribution of the additional credit
Decree No. 2026-2897 declares the availability of additional credit for a total amount of 42,376 euros, distributed between two budget allocations:
- 15,500.00 euros charged to budget allocation 2026/924/48200.
- 26,876.00 euros charged to budget allocation 2026/341/48200.
- Resulting total amount of the call: 136,376.00 euros.
- Expenditure approved by the extension: 42,376.00 euros.
The document specifies that the expenditure corresponding to the extension for that amount is approved, such that the credit is effectively committed to the aid line already called and not to a new one.
No new application period
The text of the decree is explicit: “The present extension does not imply the opening of a new period for the submission of applications.” Therefore, interested entities do not have a new window to submit applications, and the increase operates on the procedure already open and in process.
The summary appears signed in Puerto Real on October 1, 2026, by Nazaret Ramírez Ruíz, Deputy Mayor Delegated to the Area of Culture Promotion and Citizen Participation of the Puerto Real City Council.
Official publicity and appeal process
The publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz no. 202, dated October 20, 2026, publicizes the agreement and establishes the starting point for the challenge periods. An administrative appeal may be filed against the final approval within two months starting from the day following the publication of the notice in the provincial gazette.
The announcement is inserted in the local administration section of the gazette, within the notices of the Puerto Real City Council, and refers to the National Grants Database for the full consultation of the call.
The extension arrives with the budget year already advanced and without reopening the application calendar, so its effect is concentrated on the entities that already applied for the aid line. For the associative and cultural fabric of Puerto Real, the increase raises the initial ceiling of the call by 45% and expands the available margin to resolve the submitted applications, although it does not alter the conditions or the deadlines already established in the guidelines.
