Puente Genil calls for the competitive examination for one Administrative position

Only one candidate admitted in the selection process

The Hon. City Council of Puente Genil has published the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent coverage of one position of Administrative Officer, civil servant staff belonging to the General Administration scale, Administrative Subscale, Group C, Subgroup C1, by internal promotion, derived from the 2025 Public Employment Offer. The resolution, issued on 11 August 2026 and entered in the Book of Resolutions under number 2026/3954, was published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Córdoba, number 159, of 18 August 2026, on pages 12,464 to 12,467.

Only one applicant has been definitively admitted from the process: Rocío Jurado Cabello (ID number ends in 1117). Meanwhile, Cristina Jiménez Ríos (ID number ends in 5418) has been excluded for not meeting the requirements of Base 3.1, as she is not a career civil servant of the Puente Genil City Council nor does she belong to Subgroup C2, Auxiliary Subscale, in this corporation.

Composition of the Examining Board

The board responsible for assessing the competitive examination was appointed by Mayoral Decree no. 2026/3940, of 10 August 2026, and is composed of the following members:

• Chair (permanent): Inmaculada Berral Prieto, General Administration Officer (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Chair (alternate): Francisco Cabezas Jiménez, Special Administration Officer (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Secretary (permanent): Sonia Villalba Pujol, General Administration Officer (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Secretary (alternate): Sergio Morillo Mateos, Sports Management Officer (A2) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Board member 1 (permanent): Alba Mª Martínez Marín, General Administration Officer (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Board member 1 (alternate): Cristina Alcaide Ramírez, General Administration Officer (A1) of the Montilla City Council.
• Board member 2 (permanent): Alba Mª Pino Ortiz, Nationally Qualified Civil Servant and Treasurer of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Board member 2 (alternate): Pedro Díaz Gómez, General Administration Officer (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Board member 3 (permanent): Lucía Palma Reina, Administrative Officer (C1) of the Puente Genil City Council.
• Board member 3 (alternate): Tomás Espejo García, Architect (A1) of the Puente Genil City Council.

Date and place of the competitive examination

The admitted candidate must appear on 25 September 2026, at 10:30 a.m., in the Plenary Hall of the Hon. City Council of Puente Genil, located at calle Don Gonzalo, number 2, to sit the first exercise of the competitive examination phase. She must attend with her ID card, passport or driving licence and a blue pen.

In accordance with Rule 8.3 of the call for applications and the Resolution of 13 February 2026 of the Directorate General for Human Resources and Civil Service, published in BOJA No. 33 of 18 February 2026, the order of calling will begin with the letter Ñ; since there are no applicants whose first surname begins with that letter, it will begin with the O and continue alphabetically.

Appeals and challenge deadlines

Two avenues of appeal are available against the resolution. First, a voluntary appeal for reconsideration before the same issuing body, within one month of publication (Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015). Second, an administrative contentious appeal before the Administrative Contentious Courts of Córdoba, within two months following publication (Article 46.1 of Law 29/1998).

The resolution was electronically signed on 12 August 2026 by Rafael Ruiz Navas, Deputy Councillor for Human Resources and Sports, by virtue of the powers delegated by Decree of 27 October 2025.

Relevance to local civil service

Although the number of applicants is small —a single admitted candidate—, this process is part of the stabilisation and vacancy coverage plan in Andalusian town councils within the 2025 Public Employment Offer (OEP). For local civil servants in the Córdoba region, the publication of the final list closes the admission phase and opens the final stretch towards the examination, which will determine the permanent incorporation of a new Administrative Officer position in the municipal staff.
