The Territorial Delegation of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Cádiz has ordered the registration and publication of the agreement of the Joint Commission of the Collective Agreement for the Irrigation Communities of Cádiz, which updates the salary tables for 2026 based on the actual 2025 CPI of 2.9%. The resolution, signed by the territorial delegate Daniel Sánchez Román, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 168, dated September 1, 2026, and affects workers in the agricultural sector of the province.
The agreement was submitted to the Registry of Collective Agreements and Labor Accords (REGCON) on February 28, 2026, and corrected on March 9, processed under file 11/01/0042/2026 with code 11003063011999. The resolution is issued under article 82 and following of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law, and Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, regarding the registration and deposit of collective agreements.
The joint commission agreement
The joint commission met on February 17, 2026, at the headquarters of the Guadalcacín Irrigation Community, in the Agri-Food Technology Park of Jerez de la Frontera, with the attendance of the Gaditan Irrigation Association REGA-CÁDIZ and representatives from the affected communities:
- Juan Carlos Pozo Macho (Costa Noroeste Irrigation Community)

- Eloy Rocha Carretero (Guadalcacín Irrigation Community)
From the union side, representatives from CCOO and UGT attended, including Manuel Molinares Álvarez, Joaquín Robles Romero, Manuel Romero Rodríguez, Juan Antonio Blanco Ruiz Henestrosa, Manuel Tomás Díaz Carrasco, and José Antonio Luque Zugasti.
The new salary tables
Pursuant to article 3 of the agreement, economic concepts are increased by the rise in the CPI over the previous twelve months, guaranteeing a minimum of 0.5% in the event of a negative CPI. For 2026, the parties agreed to apply the actual 2025 CPI of 2.9%. The tables are structured into three groups:
- First Group (Qualified and Technical Personnel): Higher Degree Graduate, €1,947.54; Intermediate Degree Graduate, €1,857.80; Technicians and Specialists, €1,793.71.
- Second Group (Administrative Personnel): 1st Class Official, €1,537.50; 2nd Class Official, €1,409.36; Administrative Assistant, €1,331.02.
- Third Group (Operational Personnel): General Manager, €1,793.71; Foreman/Supervisor, €1,729.64; 1st Class Official, €1,473.40; 2nd Class Official, €1,409.36; Watchman or Guard and Laborer, €1,331.02.
Monthly salaries are supplemented by transport allowances (€0.30) and availability allowances (€15.55), as well as supplements for overtime, night shifts, and holiday work, which are updated in the same proportion.
Seniority and validity
The agreement maintains the seniority regime provided for in Article 20 of the convention, which rewards the permanence of permanent workers with the amount of four days of the national minimum wage at the end of each three-year period, increasing progressively up to twenty years of service. The parties authorized Manuel Tomás Díaz Carrasco to manage the publication of the agreement in the REGCON and in the provincial bulletin, and agreed that the tables will be automatically updated when the new National Minimum Wage for 2026 is published in the BOE.
The publication of these tables provides legal certainty to hundreds of irrigation workers in Cádiz, who see their salaries updated according to the actual evolution of prices. The agreement, the result of dialogue between the sector’s employers and the trade unions, reinforces labor stability in an agricultural area key to the province’s economy.
