The Electoral Census Office of Huesca has made public the list of sections, polling stations, and electoral venues for the 202 municipalities of the province for the General Elections on November 29, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 195, corresponding to Monday, October 12, 2026, with the official reference BOPH-2026-195001. Voters have from October 13 to 18 to file claims against the delimitation before the Provincial Electoral Board.
The publication is carried out for the purposes of Article 24 of the Organic Law 5/1985, of June 19, on the General Electoral Regime, which requires the dissemination of the delimitation of sections and polling stations before each call for elections. The document is signed by the provincial delegate of the Electoral Census Office of Huesca, Diego Miguel Armesto García, and originates from the Provincial Delegation of the National Statistics Institute in Huesca, under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise.
The annex details, municipality by municipality, the district, the section, the polling station, the range of voters by the first letter of the first surname, and the voting venue with its full address. In total, the province is organized into 202 municipalities and 404 polling stations, according to announcement number 4475.
Large municipalities concentrate the polling stations
The capital, Huesca, will have 69 polling stations distributed across eight districts, with venues such as the City Hall (Plaza Catedral 1), the San Vicente Public School, the sports centers of the Sancho Ramírez, Pedro J. Rubio, Pío XII, Alcoraz, and Juan XXIII schools, the I.E.S. Ramón y Cajal, the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education, and the ground floor of the Círculo Oscense.
- Barbastro: 21 polling stations, with the Convention Center (Avenida Estación 35) and the La Merced School among the venues.
- Monzón: 21 polling stations, in the Social Center, the Joaquín Costa Public School, and the Salesian Schools.
- Jaca: 18 polling stations, in the Conference Palace, the Youth Leisure Center, and the Monte Oroel, San Juan de la Peña, and Olimpia sports centers.
- Fraga: 17 polling stations, with the Montcada Cultural Center, the I.E.S. Bajo Cinca, and the headquarters of the Bajo Cinca Region.
- Sabiñánigo: 13 polling stations; Binéfar: 12 polling stations.
Small municipalities and unique venues
In rural areas, most municipalities have a single polling station installed in municipal facilities: town halls, social centers, former schools, medical clinics, or multipurpose halls. The list includes venues as diverse as the Castle Stables of Aínsa-Sobrarbe, the Municipal Cinema of Zaidín, the Goya Room of the UNED building in Barbastro, or the Secondary Education Center of Benasque.
- Almudévar: four tables at the Public School.
- Grañén: four tables distributed between the Curbe Social Center, the Montesusín Town Hall Premises, and the Municipal Sports Center.
- Graus, Sariñena, and Tamarite de Litera: five tables each.
- Benasque: four tables, one of them at the Cerler Social Premises.
Deadlines and claims
The bulletin reminds that the entities, urban routes, and numbers comprising each section and table can be consulted at the respective town halls or at the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census Office, at Coso Alto street number 14, second floor, Huesca.
- Claim period: from October 13 to 18, 2026, the six days following publication.
- Competent body: the Provincial Electoral Board, which will issue a final resolution within five days.
- Call: elections to the General Courts on November 29, 2026.
The delimitation of tables and premises is the essential preliminary step for the province’s voters to exercise their right to vote on November 29. Any error in the assignment of sections or in the location of the polling stations directly affects citizens, hence the importance of the claim period open until October 18.
