The final list of applicants for the Mossos d'Esquadra call 46/26 has been published

The Department of Interior and Public Safety has approved and made public the final list of persons admitted and excluded from call 46/26, through a free competitive examination, to fill positions in the category of officer of the basic scale of the Mossos d’Esquadra Corps. Resolution ISP/3282/2026, of September 15, is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) no. 9755, of September 21, 2026, and summons the definitively admitted persons to the first test of the opposition phase on October 17.

The resolution closes the admission phase of the selection process and considers the allegations presented against the provisional list as resolved. The immediate antecedents of the procedure are:

• Resolution ISP/1763/2026, of June 3, published in DOGC no. 9681, of 8.6.2026, which approves the bases of the call.
• Resolution ISP/2372/2026, of July 9, published in DOGC no. 9709, of 16.7.2026, which approves and makes public the provisional list of admitted and excluded persons.

The invoked regulatory framework includes article 22 of Decree 28/1986, of January 30, of the Personnel Selection Regulations of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya; article 20.2 of Law 10/1994, of July 11, of the Police of the Generalitat – Mossos d’Esquadra; article 3.i) of Decree 157/1996, of May 14, and article 1.4 of Decree 133/2024, of August 11, by which the Department of Interior becomes the Department of Interior and Public Safety.

The final list and reasons for exclusion

The approved list differentiates between positions reserved for women and the remaining positions, and includes the indication of the reasons for exclusion of the persons not admitted. The document can be consulted electronically at:

• The electronic notice board of the Generalitat de Catalunya, tauler.gencat.cat.
• The internet address mossos.gencat.cat.

With the publication of the final list, the allegations formulated in relation to the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants are considered resolved.

First test: October 17 in Bellaterra

The resolution summons the definitively admitted participants to the first test of the opposition phase, which includes knowledge, aptitude test, and language knowledge, established in base 6.1.1 of the call. The details of the summons are:

• Date: October 17, 2026.
• Time: 10:30 hours.
• Location: Autonomous University of Barcelona, Bellaterra Campus, Cerdanyola del Vallès.
• Classroom: the one indicated for each person on the list of summoned persons.

The order of action of the participants will begin with the first person whose first surname starts with the letters “OCE”, in accordance with the public draw held on January 28, 2026 (Resolution PRE/279/2026, of January 29, DOGC no. 9600, of 9.2.2026).

Notification and means of appeal

In accordance with article 45.1.b) of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, the publication of the resolution is considered to be the timely notification to the interested parties and the calculation of the deadlines begins. Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, the following may be filed:

• An appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the same body that issued it, within a period of one month starting from the day after its publication in the DOGC.
• A contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia, within a period of two months starting from the day after its publication in the DOGC.

The resolution was signed in Barcelona on September 15, 2026, by Joana Ricardo Hoyos, general secretary, in exercise of the powers delegated by Resolution INT/81/2011, of January 18.

The publication of the final list is the step that enables thousands of applicants to appear for the physical and knowledge tests of the process, and marks the calendar of the selection process for call 46/26 of the Mossos d’Esquadra Corps. Candidates now have one month to appeal the list if they detect errors and less than a month to prepare for the first test in Bellaterra.
