List of admitted candidates for the administrative assistants competitive examination published
Por FactBox Admin

The Huesca City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the open competitive examination intended to fill eight vacant Administrative Assistant positions within its civil service staff. The list is made public through Resolution No. 5056/2026, dated September 1, 2026, signed by Mayor Lorena Orduna Pons, and appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 168, dated Thursday, September 3, 2026 (official reference BOPH-2026-168013).
A high-attendance process
The call, whose rules were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 109, dated June 11, 2026, has recorded high participation. In total, 541 applicants have been admitted to take part in the selection process, while 28 applications have been excluded in this provisional phase.
The procedure is being processed by the People and Organization area of the Huesca council and is part of the municipal public employment offer to reinforce the civil service staff with eight new Administrative Assistant positions.
Reasons for exclusion
Excluded individuals must review the cause listed in the report, as most of the reasons are correctable within the enabled period. The causes for exclusion listed in the announcement are as follows:
- Missing completed and signed Annex II (application).
- Failure to meet the requirements demanded in section 2.1b) of the rules.
- Missing document proving payment of examination fees.
- Paid fees that do not correspond to those required (difference is missing).
- Missing photocopy of the qualification required in the rules.
- Missing photocopy of the DNI (ID) or renewal document.
- Failure to meet the requirements demanded in section 2.1a) of the rules.
Period for allegations and correction
The resolution opens a period of ten business days, counted from the day following its publication in the official gazette, for interested parties to submit any allegations or claims they deem appropriate and request the correction of material errors. If the period expires without claims, the list will automatically become final, without the need for a new resolution or publication.
Applicants who do not correct the cause of exclusion or do not justify their right to be included in the list of admitted candidates within the specified period will be excluded from the selection process. The resolution also orders its publication on the corporation’s electronic headquarters and on the Huesca City Council website.
Relevance for applicants
This publication marks a key milestone for the hundreds of applicants from the province vying for one of the eight Administrative Assistant positions, a frequent entry-level role in local administration. The high turnout—more than 540 admitted candidates for eight positions—reflects the interest in public employment in the area, and the appeals period offers those excluded the opportunity to correct documentary deficiencies before the list becomes final.
