Proyecto Melilla SAU licita tres servicios de prevención y seguros

Proyecto Melilla S.A.U. (PROMESA), a public company of the Autonomous City of Melilla, has put out to tender three service contracts through an open procedure and ordinary processing. The calls, approved by a resolution of the Board of Directors on July 16, 2026, are published in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous City of Melilla (BOME) number 6412, dated September 8, 2026, and open opportunities for insurance companies and occupational risk prevention firms.

The three announcements, signed by the secretary of the Board of Directors, Víctor Manuel Román Gallego, refer to the Public Sector Procurement Platform to consult the full documentation of each tender. These are recurring service contracts for the municipal company, covering both the protection of its staff and the coverage of its activity.

Three contracts in open competition

The first file corresponds to the external prevention service, which outsources the management of the company’s occupational risk prevention. The other two contracts are insurance policies intended for the personnel and the company itself:

  • External prevention service for Proyecto Melilla SAU, file 29/26 (article BOME-A-2026-1005, p. 4638).
  • Group life and accident insurance for Proyecto Melilla personnel, file 30/26 (article BOME-A-2026-1006, p. 4639).
  • Civil liability insurance for Proyecto Melilla, SAU, file 31/26 (article BOME-A-2026-1007, p. 4640).

Processing and access to documentation

The three tenders are processed via an open procedure, allowing the participation of any company that meets the required solvency requirements, and with ordinary processing. The information and specifications are available in the contracting profile of the Public Sector Procurement Platform, via the link published in each BOME announcement.

Interested parties can access the complete documentation for each file at the following link on the state platform:

Relevance for the sector

The simultaneous publication of these three contracts represents an opportunity for insurance companies and occupational risk prevention entities operating in Melilla and the rest of the national territory. Group life and accident insurance and civil liability insurance are standard policies in the public sector, while the external prevention service ensures compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations by the municipal company.

With these calls for tenders, Proyecto Melilla S.A.U. reinforces transparency and competitive bidding in its procurement, in line with public sector contract regulations, and opens a period for the submission of bids that will be resolved in the coming months.
