Provincia Activa 2026 extends its execution until March 2027
Por FactBox Admin

The Governing Board of the Deputación de Pontevedra, in its ordinary session on September 11, 2026, unanimously agreed to modify the regulatory bases of the “Provincia Activa” 2026 program to extend the execution deadline for the workshops and the validity of the program until March 31, 2027. The modification was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 177, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in the Local Administration section, under file number 69.37694.
The decision affects two specific bases of the program. On one hand, the fourth base, “Program Conditions,” which regulates the duration and calendar of the workshops; and, on the other, the seventeenth base, “Period of Validity,” which determines how long the call will remain in effect.
What changes in the bases
The modification replaces the deadline of December 31, 2026, with that of March 31, 2027, in two key points of the regulatory text:
- Fourth base (Program Conditions): the deadline to carry out the workshops changes from December 31, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
- Seventeenth base (Period of Validity): the program will be valid until March 31, 2027, instead of December 31, 2026.
Characteristics of the workshops
The execution conditions of the workshops remain unchanged. Each workshop will last thirty (30) hours and will be taught in sessions of between one and three hours per week. The requesting entity may choose for the workshop to be taught during one or several days a week until the total number of hours is completed.
Impact for the entities
The extension of the deadline provides more leeway for the requesting entities to organize and complete the workshops, especially those that have difficulties adjusting to the initial calendar. The measure, adopted unanimously, responds to the need to make the execution of the program more flexible without altering its fundamental conditions.
