Provisional proposals for efficient irrigation grants for 134 Extremaduran farmers

The Irrigation Service of the General Directorate of Irrigation and Rural Infrastructure of the Regional Government of Extremadura has made public the list of holders to whom it communicates the provisional resolution proposal for grants for the implementation of irrigation systems that promote the efficient use of water and energy. The announcement, signed on October 8, 2026, in Mérida, is published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) No. 201, of October 19, 2026, with the official reference 2026081714, and grants ten business days to submit allegations.

The framework for the call is Decree 12/2025, of March 11, which established the regulatory bases for these subsidies and approved the first call in its sole additional provision (DOE No. 64, of April 2, 2025). Article 10 of the regulation provides that the grant is resolved under a competitive bidding process according to the objective criteria of Article 9, while Article 15 enables the substitution of individual notification with the publication of an announcement in the regional bulletin to increase the effectiveness of communications.

The provisional proposal is formulated by the instructing body based on the file, the mandatory reports, and the actions deemed necessary, and it does not deviate from the sense of the report from the Evaluation Commission.

134 files in the first call

The annex of the announcement, titled “List of interested parties,” identifies 134 holders with their file number and partially hidden NIF (Tax Identification Number). Of these, 91 correspond to files with the prefix 06/ and 43 to files with the prefix 10/.

Ten business days and two electronic channels

The period to lodge allegations and present documents and justifications is ten business days starting from the day following the publication, that is, from October 20, 2026, in accordance with Article 18 of Decree 12/2025 and Article 82.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

Interested parties may consult the full text of the communication via the individual notification on the LABOREO platform (laboreo.juntaex.es), using their personalized credentials, and submit allegations through the General Electronic Registry of the Junta de Extremadura (aradoacceso.juntaex.es), for which a digital certificate or electronic ID (DNIe) is required.

The announcement warns that, in the event of no response, conformity with the provisional resolutions will be assumed.

Notification by announcement and administrative effects

The publication replaces individual notification in accordance with articles 40 to 46 of Law 39/2015, such that the calculation of deadlines and administrative effects are linked to the appearance of the announcement in the DOE. The document is signed by the Head of the Irrigation Service, Carlos Alberto Álvez Castro.

The provisional resolution does not close the procedure: those who submit allegations may correct or complete their application before the final resolution is issued, and those who do not will be bound by the meaning of the notified proposal.

The publication directly affects farmers and agricultural societies with an open file in the first call for these grants, the objective of which is to finance irrigation systems that reduce water and energy consumption in the farms of the autonomous community. The deadline is short and peremptory: ten business days from October 20, with no margin for subsequent claims regarding the content of the provisional proposal.
