First exercise of Management Technician: on October 6 in Melilla

The Examination Board of the Autonomous City of Melilla has set the first exercise of the competitive examination for the permanent provision of two Management Technician positions through internal promotion for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. This is stated in announcement number 941, published in the Official Bulletin of the Autonomous City of Melilla (BOME) number 6405, of Friday, August 14, 2026, with official reference BOME-A-2026-941.

The agreement was adopted by the Examination Board at a session held on August 5, 2026, within the process for the permanent provision of two Management Technician positions belonging to the General Administration scale, Technical subscale, called through the competitive examination system in the internal promotion round. The rules of the call were published in BOME number 6368, of April 7, 2026.

A first eliminatory exercise of 80 questions

The first exercise of the competitive phase is eliminatory in nature and will consist of a multiple-choice questionnaire made up of 80 questions, plus 5 reserve questions for possible cancellations, with multiple answers of three alternatives of which only one will be correct and related to the topics of the syllabus. Applicants will have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete it.

• Each question will be worth 0.125 points.
• Blank questions will not be penalized.
• Errors will be penalized according to the formula A-(E/(n-1)), where “A” is the number of correct answers, “E” the number of errors, and “n” the number of alternatives.
• The score will be from 0 to 10 points, with a minimum of 5 points to be able to take the second exercise.

Date, place and time of the exam

The single call will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The test will be held in the Assembly Hall of the General Directorate of Culture, located at 7 Miguel de Cervantes Street, former building of the Chamber of Commerce of Melilla.

Instructions for applicants

On October 1, 2026, an informative note with the rules and instructions to follow on the day of the exercise will be published on the website and on the notice board of the Autonomous City of Melilla.

• Applicants must wait for the call without being accompanied by any person, except in particular cases that are duly justified.
• Entry will not be allowed for candidates who do not carry their DNI (national identity document) or equivalent official document.

With this announcement, signed on 12 August 2026 by the secretary of the Examination Board, Paula Aznar Martínez, the selection process enters its final stretch for municipal civil servants seeking internal promotion. The information note of 1 October and the exercise on the 6th mark the next milestones in a call that will allow two positions in the General Administration scale to be made permanent.
