Priego approves Interior Reform Plan with 21 new homes

The Local Government Board of Priego de Córdoba agreed at its ordinary session of 13 August 2026 to the initial approval of the Interior Reform Plan AR18/ARI17 “Luque Onieva” of the municipality’s General Urban Development Plan (PGOU). The agreement, promoted by the company Datacón Ingeniería de Construcción SL, has been published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Córdoba (no. 159, of 18 August 2026, p. 12,463) with reference BOP-A-2026-2909, under the verification system 353EEB555A3D258A7D3C.

The initiative affects an area of 4,703.71 m² classified as Unconsolidated Urban Land (SUNC) in the municipality of the Subbética region, with cadastral reference 3842110UG9434S0001OZ. The Plan is framed within the need to regulate in detail Interior Reform Area no. 17 of the PGOU and operates through the compensation system of action, one of the usual urban intervention mechanisms for unconsolidated land.

Plan content: housing, roads and facilities

The Interior Reform Plan AR18/ARI17 provides for a total of 21 homes distributed across residential blocks, of which 5 must be allocated to protected housing in accordance with article 20.1.b) of the Consolidated Text of the Land and Urban Rehabilitation Law (TRLSRU). In addition, the creation of a facility plot is planned, intended for public services or complementary amenities.

The plan’s determinations also include the opening of new connecting roads between Haza Luna and Cañada del Pradillo streets, an intervention that will improve the urban fabric of the area and facilitate accessibility for future residents to the surrounding existing streets.

Public information: twenty days for objections

In accordance with articles 78.1 of the Law on Transport Infrastructure and Air Services (LISTA) and 104 of its General Regulations, the plan is subject to public information for a period of 20 working days counted from the day following the publication of the notice in the BOP of Córdoba, that is, from 19 August 2026. During this period, any interested party may examine the complete file at the municipal offices or on the electronic headquarters of the City Council of Priego de Córdoba.

Promoter and municipal signature

The project has been promoted by Datacón Ingeniería de Construcción SL, while the agreement has been signed by Marta Isabel Siles Montes, First Co-Chair of the Urban Planning and Works and Services Area of the City Council of Priego de Córdoba, with the delegation of the Mayor’s Office (file 4620/2025). The date of signature of the electronic document was 18 August 2026, the day of its official publication.

Impact on the municipality of the Subbética region

The approval of this Interior Reform Plan represents a significant step for the residential growth of Priego de Córdoba, a municipality in the Subbética region (Córdoba). The reservation of 24% of the homes as protected housing addresses a historic demand for access to housing in a territory where the supply of consolidated urban land is limited. The projected road connection between Haza Luna and Cañada del Pradillo streets will also reorganize an area that has until now been disconnected, facilitating the integration of the new development with the existing urban fabric.
