Poza de la Sal auctions the pastures of monte Los Pinares in two lots

The Poza de la Sal City Council has called for the awarding of grazing rights for the public utility forest no. 673 “Los Pinares”, located in the municipality of Poza de la Sal (Burgos), through an auction procedure. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 175, dated September 15, 2026, with the official reference BOPBUR-2026-03797, and gives interested parties a period of 15 days to submit their bids.

The tender arises from the municipal Plenary agreement adopted on August 8, 2026, and directly affects the livestock farmers and holdings of the region that depend on these pastures for the maintenance of their livestock. The utilization is structured into two lots differentiated by area and base tender price.

The two lots up for auction

The “Los Pinares” forest is divided into two grazing utilization lots, with a combined total of more than 426 hectares:

• Lot no. 1: grazing utilization on 10.58 hectares, at a base price of 1,187.60 euros.
• Lot no. 2: grazing utilization on 416.04 hectares, at a base price of 2,716.74 euros.

The type of auction is established according to the provisions of the specifications, in its seventh clause.

Deadlines and method of submission

Bids must be submitted in physical format at the headquarters of the Poza de la Sal City Council, within a period of 15 days starting from the day following the publication of the tender announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province. The auction, including the opening of envelopes, will be held on the Monday following the end of the bid submission period.

Proposals shall be submitted in two closed envelopes signed by the bidder, with the legend “Proposal to bid for the awarding of alienable grazing rights located in Poza de la Sal”:

• Envelope “A”: administrative documentation.
• Envelope “B”: economic offer and documentation allowing for the evaluation of bids according to the awarding criteria.

The announcement, signed on August 28, 2026, by the mayor-president, Domingo Núñez Movilla, opens an opportunity for livestock farms in the area to ensure access to these publicly owned pastures, in a context where the availability of grazing area is key to the viability of extensive farming in the La Bureba region.
