Porqueres calls for 6,000 euros in transport grants for students

The Porqueres City Council has announced grants for public transport travel for young students up to 25 years of age from the municipality during the 2026/2027 academic year. The resolution, signed by Mayor Francesc Castañer Campolier on September 21, 2026, is published this Thursday, September 24, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP no. 184), with the reference BOP-2026_0_184_8231. The call has an allocation of 6,000 euros and a deadline of 20 business days to submit applications.

The call is processed on a non-competitive basis, until the maximum planned amount is exhausted, and is framed within the specific rules approved by the Plenary of the Porqueres City Council in the session of June 1, 2026, definitively published in BOP no. 115 on June 17, 2026. Purpose and recipients

How to submit the application

Applications must be submitted to the city council registry, using the specific form available on the electronic office. According to article 5 of the regulatory bases, each request must be accompanied by:

• Copy of the identification document (DNI) of the applicant and the representative, where applicable.
• Copy of the study enrollment for the year.
• Bank account ownership document, in the name of the same person requesting the grant or, otherwise, of the person acting on their behalf.
• Declaration of other grants received for the same purpose, stating that the total cost of the justified travel is not exceeded.

The submission of the application implies full acceptance of the rules and, in the event the aid is granted, the status of beneficiary.

Resolution, notification and appeals

The Mayor’s Office is the competent body for the instruction and resolution of the file. All applications submitted within the deadline will be examined together in a single procedure and resolved in a single administrative act, within a maximum of 60 days from the closing date of the submission period. Notification will be made within a maximum period of 10 days from the approval of the resolution, in accordance with Article 40 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedure. The lack of a resolution within the indicated period has the effect of dismissal.

Against the agreement, which ends the administrative route, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed within two months starting from the working day following the notification. Alternatively and optionally, a plea for reversal may be filed before the same body that issued it, within a period of one month.
