Pontevedra urgently calls for the position of Head of Urban Planning

The Pontevedra City Council is seeking a head for the Urban Planning, Environment, and Historical Heritage Service. The Department of Government responsible for the Non-Territorialized Services Area approved on October 8, 2026, the call to fill this position on a temporary basis, under a service commission regime for reasons of urgency. One year extendable and appeal process

The secondment will have a duration of one year, extendable for one more year, without prejudice to it ending sooner if the position is filled permanently in accordance with the applicable regulations. Against the agreement, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) may be filed before the delegated Department of Personnel and Culture within one month, under article 124.1 of Law 39/2015, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra within two months, according to articles 8.1 and 46.1 of Law 29/1998.
